I'm trying to get one but none are for adoption when I get on. Could I do something?

Hey saintbernard! There probably won't be any new adopts for awhile, as the species just got off hiatus. A popular alternative to getting an equid via adoption is by breeding. If you find a male and female you like, and get the permission of their owners, you can breed the two and own the foal. You would have to fill out the appropriate form for the artist and send it in to one of the breeding artists listed on this thread, but only when that artist's post says OPEN. Sometimes, artists open only for non-equid users, so you could send a breeding in then, or whenever an artist opens just regularly. I hope this helps! Good luck on getting your first WME!

Hey everybody!

I wanted to let all of y'all know that I am stepping down as a full time artist and staff member of WMEs. From this point on, I'm just another community member again, same as yourselves! I may potentially work as a guest artist or guest breeder at some point on the future, but who knows?

It's been a blast creating so many foals and being able to run adoptable contests! Every contest was another chance to be blown away by everyone's creativity! I'm glad I had the chance to join the team, but now I'm glad to be freeing up time to spend on my own personal projects.

It likely goes without saying, but just in case, I hope that none of you will read this as a prime opportunity to ask Horsy about staff changes/open positions or pester her about the status of the hiatus. My stepping down has nothing to do with the reorganizing and work she is putting into the species during this time.

I'm so glad you were a huge part of the equids, Folk. I always knew I could approach you for quick and nice answers to questions. Thank you for everything you've done for all of us. And most recently thinking about the community as a whole and giving out customs, and I will always cherish Sabine, Earnestine, Torin, and Snowden with all of my heart.

The only WME's being made are customs or breedings and unfortunately I haven't got things sorted to open adopts any time in the next few months.
