I still like the series. The tail jewel is a bit weird, but that can always be adjusted, ya know? I still love this, so I won't be leaving the sima's alone.

And I thought I finally had a good species. I tried making it unique, but I guess I didn't work. I tried new lines since the old ones looked a bit like JBDs, but appearently that didn't work. *Sigh*

Why is it it took a month for the mods to do this? I mean, yes it's a jewel, but how does the tail even resemble JMDs. This is a complete different species I made at school! The tail is its best aspect! If JMDs weren't around then this would be allowed. There's plenty of other species that have jewels like this! I mean, they don't even resemble each other! It's not art theft if it's different

This is what I tried to argue. Didn't end well. He ended up telling me quite crossly that you and he already discussed it and if you have a problem with the verdict you should go to him directly. He also said he was frustrated he was being talked about in such a rude manner...

Honestly, though, if the species dies out because of this I would report it to a "higher authority," if you know what I mean. I still feel this is extremely unfair.

I Just say we all drop it before someone else gets in more trouble and gets the thread locked, Just worry about changing the jewel and what not.

Mods cannot see every single post or adoptable species made. There are thousands of posts which are put up on the site every day. This is why we rely on the help from our members to use the report button to report things which do not comply to our rules.

This species had several elements from very well known adoptables, of which many of you I know are aware of. Similar adopts have been locked and the maker warned for less. You were given a chance to fix it, and all you're doing now is being rude to the moderator who gave you the chance to fix your species to comply with our rules. I think you owe this moderator and apology for your rude behaviour.

If you want to make a species it needs to have your own unique ideas integrated into it. You cannot simply take other people's ideas and mash them together.
