Never mind, I think I figured it out.
Would we have to trade items for other items? I’m trying to figure out how the items work for the recipe. Like, would I have to trade two firemushrooms to get a glow berry, and then I’d be able to get a common MYO/Aureai with by asking for a recipe?

Yes! Or you can keep requesting a spin on the wheel for a chance to have those items dropped. The 4-5 people participating in the opening event right now are just grinding for items and saving up. I'm actually surprised how often the rare items have dropped today, so now is a good time to try your luck! You're more than welcome to do that. You can also just buy Trait Tokens outright at The Shop if you'd prefer 😊
