Mocha started at the shattered window before hopping neatly onto a nearby bookshelf and sending a few books onto the floor. The Skitty stared at them before turning his gaze back to the glass shards spread across the floor. He huffed, green eyes closing for a brief moment before he made a choice. Surely making a new window wouldn't be all that hard and he had an idea of just what the subject of the window would be.

Working quickly and carefully the little moon-marked Skitty began working away on the design. Gathering the broken glass was harder than he thought and he found himself narrowly avoiding getting cut multiple times. It took some time but Mocha managed to get his window design made up into the real thing, thanks to some help from more knowledgeable Pokemon and people.

The window was fitted, and he took his time to stare at it from inside the tower. A Suicune stood poised atop a pool, blue light radiating from where the paws touched the water, mane rippling in the wind. The Pokemon seemed so lifelike, almost like it was going to leap right out of the glass and stand before the little Skitty.

Upon climbing the grand old staircase to the library's second level, Baffle discovered more of the same. More dust, more debris (though less than he'd seen on the ground level), and more broken windows. One in particular caught his eye - a massive stained glass window that sat in a commanding position, overlooking the entryway and spilling bright sunlight down onto the floor below. Bits of coloured glass still clung to the frame in places, a sad reminder of what once had been, and motes of dust danced in the rainbow sunlight. First red, then yellow, then green. Baffle gazed at it for a long moment. He wondered what - or who - had caused the window's destruction. Maybe it had been blown out in a storm? The victim of some piece of flying debris? He certainly hoped so. The thought that some callous 'mon had broken it intentionally in a fit of juvenile stupidity was just too depressing... The Mimoth frowned and shook his head sadly. Either way, this beautiful piece of art needed to be fixed. Posthaste!

Baffle made a quick trip downstairs to ask the librarian for a bucket and some gloves, then he ascended the stairs once more and carefully set about collecting all the broken glass that littered the floor. This done, he carefully pried loose what remained in the frame and added that to his collection. The next step was to go back downstairs and chat a bit with the librarian - see if he could find original design drawings for the window stashed in some archive, or, failing that, see if the little 'mon had any ideas for a NEW design. One that would properly represent the library, its mission, and its rebirth!

Several hours later saw the Mimoth on his way back into town, a large piece of rolled parchment gripped in his hand. He was on a mission to find a glazier he could commission! Baffle smiles at the unintentional rhyme. The Glazier would create their new stained glass window, and fix all the other broken panes too. Then, once the weather was shut firmly OUT, the real cleanup campaign could begin!

Oliver hummed as she surveyed the broken glass scattered across the ground, her foot tapping on the ground in thought. Hazel and Pascal cautiously peeked out from behind their mother, wary of going any further into the room in fear of cutting up their paws. Not that the Flareon would have allowed it anyways.

"Do either of you have any ideas on what we could make out of this?" She ruffled the top of Pascal's head affectionately, knowing the Sneasel hybrid was more of an artsy type than his brother.

Moving carefully to avoid injury, the shiny moved into the room and began poking around. He started by sorting glass out by color and then, slowly, began to lay out shapes. Oliver couldn't piece together what her son was up to, but apparently Hazel could. He rushed forward and began moving glass that Pascal needed closer. Both of the young 'mons tails were wagging from excitement and she could barely surprise a laugh as the two brothers worked together.

She watched as the image unfurled before her; a Solgaleo stood atop of a large hill, gazing up at the pitch black night sky where a Lunala was flying with it's wings unfurled. In the little bit of glass that made of their faces, she could see how much the sun loved the moon and how much they longed to be together. Atop of the piece sat an eclipse - though of what kind she could not be terribly certain - and knew that this was the only time the two lovers would be allowed to see each other so closely in months.

Oliver sighed, smiling, as she moved to help set the glass in one piece. Maybe her kids listened to her silly bedtime stories after all.

The stain glass was being carefully carried by Duna, which was a smeargle, but strange enough the art piece wasn’t hers. The glass had a origin forme giratina with tons of different reds,blacks,and whites on it. The giratina was facing forwards and it appeared that their were other stained glass pieces that were supposed to go with it, almost like this one was abandoned. It was dusty, so Duna was brushing it off with her tail. Approaching her cottage, Cyrus, the happy little rockruff hybrid trots up to her.

“What do you have now?” Cyrus pushes Duna’s hands down to take a look. “Hey! Be careful! You can take a look but don’t touch.”

“Woah, that’s that one scary Pokemon that people take about in those books right?”

“Right.” Cyrus does a little jump. “You know, you should donate that to someone I have talked to! They have been needing a new piece, they said that would take good care of it.” Duna hesitates for a moment. “Okay, you can take it. But I’m holding it.”

“Okay! Follow me!” Cyrus runs off as Duna follows trying her best to keep up.

The stained glass windows were something to behold indeed. There were four of them, one for each side of the tower and one for each direction, north, south, east, and west. The northern piece was shades of white, grey, and black, with the central figure of the piece being the pokemon god Arceus. A striking red eye pierces this side. For the eastern side, the pokemon Jirachi is depicted with bags of coins for good luck charms. On the western side was a depiction of the pokemon Victini, in warm colors like red, orange, and pink. The final side, the south side showed story clouds and piercing thunderbolts, and in the center is a medium-sized figure, Mewtwo.
