I really love coding and wish I could have more opportunities to use it especially since I'm going into more robotics classes next year and could use the practice. It would be especially fun to have something to do especially with a species that I love! Thanks for any consideration and if you need any help with the species at all, please contact me! do you have skype?; why yes I do! If it's needed for this I can check it very regularly.
what ways would you deal with a situation?; This is a toughie because it really depends on what the situation is. If someone breaks a minor rule or it is not too big of a deal I would give a fair warning. But, if it's a situation that is more serious, I'd collaborate with other mods and yourself to resolve the problem. Working with others almost always works out.
previous moderating experience; Like I said in my archivist application, I did run the pixel kitties thing for a while and it was just me. I did not really have any other mods to help out. But, it did provide me with a lot of good experience. Outside of CS, I "moderate" or manage most of my group projects to make sure everyone is doing their part and staying on task.
anything else?; I find myself wanting to lead and making sure others are doing the right thing because I am a rule follower and well... get scared if I break the rules haha. But again, thank you for a great opportunity! I'll do my best with whatever I can help out with around here c:

what ways would you deal with a situation?; I personally believe the best way to deal with a situation is done in a few steps. 1. end any disagreements for the time being (if that involves a temporary ban just so that things can be figured out, so be it) 2. talk to all sides of the disagreement, and if necessary bystanders (gotta figure out what happened and how it affected others) 3. translate the impact of the disagreement to those involved 4. decide on what punishments should be doled out if punishments are deemed necessary. and all this should be done privately whenever possible - no one should ever be publicly scrutinized unless completely necessary!!!
