Tell me about yourself ;; Oh gosh I'm not good with things like this ahh. So ah, hello, I'm MintCat, as you probably can see and I've been on CS since 2010. I'm uh, not really good with new people or just posting in general, so I'm really trying to be more active in various communities and such... I have a lot of patience (probably due to dealing with my younger brother and children in summer camps) though I guess I could be a pushover at times haha.... I like drawing and cats and soda, and am utterly dependent on the internet because I'm a child. I have a really weird sense of humour (so forgive me if I say something weird) and like to make bad puns.

Have you had any past experience with modding? ;; Yes! I've been a mod in various thread such as Mewki adopts and the newly re-opened Chibi Park. There were a lot more, but they've generally closed over time ahah...

How often are you online? ;; I'm online on and off from 5pm-9pm on weekdays, and pretty much the entire day on weekends and holidays. There are sometimes exceptions (trips/outings with friends or family, times when I'm busy with school) but I'll probably be at least one time a day.

Why do you want to be a moderator? ;; I want to be a mod because this is such an interesting concept, and has great potential! I really want to be a part of this and help the species grow, whether it means to be a mod, artist, or simply just being a part of the community. ^^

Convince me to hire you ;; If I were hired, I'd try my hardest to keep the thread spam and drama-free, and will be fair in enforcing the rules of the thread. I have a lot of patience and probably won't lose my temper at rule-breakers easily. But if I were to be honest, I can't really convince you to hire me or not. Picking out mods and artists are based on your own judgement, and ah... Yeah.

I would probably contact the user and tell them what they did wrong (in this case, that they spammed and that isn't allowed on this thread.) and ask them to delete it. If someone else posted after them, I'd probably try and contact a mod to try and remove it.

"Being staff or not does no influence whether they have a greater likeliness of winning or not. The competitions are judged fairly and on how good the form is (or, if it's a raffle and such, on luck). I'm sure each winner put a great deal of effort into their form, so it's rude to imply favoritism, end of discussion. I would contact you with the link and take a look at the species myself. There's a high possibility that no copying has been done, and it probably just a coincidence that there are a few similarities. While I don't have the final say in this matter, I would ask the user to PM me to discuss it and try and.... Placate them???

Tell me about yourself ;; hhh okay, I'm never any good at this xD I'm Jinx, better known as The Jinxed Fox. I spend a lot of time on CS and the JBDFC, and I spend a lot of time drawing. I've tried out for various positions for various adopts, but never really gotten one. I've never tried out for a mod though!

Have you had any past experience with modding? (if so, link) ;; None, since this is my first time trying for a mod.

How often are you online? ;; I can generally get on for about 5-6 hours on weekdays, and up to all day on weekends.

Why do you want to be a moderator? ;; I really love this species a lot, and the idea is super unique and cute, and it'd be great to be involved in it them in some way. Since my designing skills are quite limited, I guess mod would probably be the better job for me xD Also, I really, really love things with jars for some reason. I have so many jars in my house he l p

Convince me to hire you (put anything here that will convince me to hire you) ;; It'd be my first time having this job, so I'd be sure to do it right. I'd always check the thread and I'd try my hardest to make sure everyone is keeping the community drama-free. Plus, considering my timezone, I could possibly be online a lot when other mods are asleep!

It really doesn't matter what position the winner is in, it's entirely up to the artist's decision. Please don't guilt the artists, as they judge on who put in effort up to their standards.

I would check the link and point out the differences. I'd do a bit of digging and see which one was posted first and all that. Then I would politely point this out to the user and explain how there was no intent of copying, even if there may be a few coincidences.
If the user persisted, I'd ask them to do so over PM so as not to spam, and I would explain the rational side of things and how the species was completely original.
