Why do you want to adopt? She's adorable! I love her little feet... And I really wanted a rat character, I need more characters that aren't wolves and horses. I'm getting loads of ideas for stories... I really love this character that's coming to mind.
Rat Name: Freesia
Personality: She loves warmth and sunlight, especially when she's falling asleep or waking up in the morning. She loves grapes and cheese to death and can be bribed with them. Music is one of her passions, and she has a tiny cherrywood violin that she uses, the strings on the bow being fibers from a plant. She likes happiness, laughter, friends and family, and is very loyal and will stand up for what she believes in. She can be timid and is easily startled, but is courageous and brave when it comes down to it. Though she hasn't had much experience in life, being only a ratlet, she has natural common sense and is very clever. Loves to go on adventures, and has an uncanny ability to get herself out of tight fixes. She also loves flowers and things that are colorful, and hates darkness and unhappiness. She is more of a mediator type, who will always try to help people with their problems, and sometimes can't see when to just leave it alone. Some think she is overly and possibly annoyingly helpful, but she really just wants to make people happy. Doesn't really like to be held by humans in their hands, but would rather ride in a pocket or on a shoulder. She is generally cheerful and happy, and loves to share a good joke, but if she's upset for any reason, she will be upset for a long time, and oftentimes it's hard to get her out of that mood. One of the most relaxing things to her is listening to music or having someone read to her. She absolutely adores medieval stories, like fairy tales and Lord of the Rings. One thing she can't stand is spiders. They really scare her, even though she knows it's irrational.
Quirks: She likes sleeping under something warm and soft, and goes crazy for grapes and any type of cheese. She also loves music, and the best way to make friends with her at first is with that. She also likes to collect interesting things she finds in her little adventures, and colorful candy wrappers.
What do you plan on doing with your rat? RPing, making art of her, she shall be in my own personal stories, and I will put her in my character thread once I make it.

Why do you want to adopt?: He's absolutely adorable, and reminds me a lot of my fursona.
Rat Name: Barry
Personality: He likes finding things to put into his nest, even if it means he's tearing up your favorite shirt, he likes to hoard his food rather than eat it right away. He's afraid of dogs and cats, and most everything that makes noise. Timid when it comes to people, but loves being with other rats, is very submissive with rats though. He takes a good bit of time to adjust, and even longer to bond, but once he does, he never wants to leave your side. If he's not sitting on your shoulder, he likes to curl up in his nest with his other rat buddies. Only does things at night in his cage, such as eating, running in the wheel, or playing with others.
Quirks: He has slight vision problems due to his red eyes, so he sways his head often. Hoards food and bedding material. Loves to have his belly rubbed.
What do you plan on doing with your rat? I would try drawing him , get art of him (probably with Cae/Jwi), maybe roleplay if I can ever find a rat roleplay.

Username: The Backwards Book

Why do you want to adopt? I just love how he looks. Plane, simple, timid, but able to open up to people they know, and become comfortable with them. Afraid of too much change, but willing to take on the challenge when given support. Thats what I see when I look at him. I see a person, like I do with all of the animals I have in real life. I see his personality, and how he could grow. Thats why I want to adopt him.
Rat Name: Basil
Personality: Basil is a very timid ratlet, so he enjoys time spent in the company of his "Person," more than the company of other rats and people he doesn't know. He is a naturally sweet and caring rat, and he's very sensitive to emotion and to the feelings of people and rats around him. Basil has a natural talent for comforting people and easily over comes his slyness when someone else is in distress and could use his comfort.
Likes:
Basil has an expansive cage, room to roam, places to move around and do what ever he pleases. Toys, like a zebra stuffed animal of mine that he enjoys, a wheal, and many other rat toys. But, all he really does is curl up with that zebra stuffed animal. Most of the time, when I have him out, I'm reading, and he likes to curl up in front of the book, and I swear he's reading along with me. Basil also enjoys watermelon. I find that when ever I'm eating it, he's stolen it when I'm not looking.
Dislikes:
Basil has few "dislikes", but one of hie biggest dislikes is rap music. He'll listen to any kind of music, (Mozart is his favorite XD), but he will screech his little head off if rap music even comes on the radio.
Reaction to other rats and most people:
Basil tends to shy away from most people and rats,(it took forever to get him to trust me), he is more of a follower than a leader and will submit to more dominant rats easily. For people, unless I, literally, pry him off of my shoulder, he'll stay far away.
Quirks: Basil likes to suck on the tip of his tail when he gets nervous and I, or his stuffed zebra, are not around. He also has the bad habit of chewing up my pencils.
What do you plan on doing with your rat? I'll probably order some art of him, if I can find a suitable Rat Rp, then i'll rp him. I will probably doodle him on paper, and color him in when I see editable I like.

Story:
“Hm...maybe I should just move this a bit...” I said, fretting over every detail of my new ratlet's cage. Making sure that his water bottle was full, a nicely topped off food dish, and an un-squeeky wheel. I pulled my hands out of the cage and rested them on my hips. With a discerning eye, I looked over every inch of his cage. Just a few moments ago I had come home from my trip to the Chitter Squeak Rattery, and in my possession, a small brown ratlet. He had had so much character potential, all wrapped into one little rat, that I applied for him immediately. I was lucky enough to hear back from them later that my application had been excepted, and that my new ratlet was waiting for me. I knew I would have a challenge ahead of me, for he was a timid little thing. It would take time, but I was certain that he would warm up to me soon enough. I turned around a looked at the little cardboard box that sat on my desk, threw one of the little holes in the side, I could see him peaking his head out, my new best friend. Basil.

I flopped down on my bed with a huff about half an hour later. It had taken me that long to finally coax him into my hand to take him to his cage, and then coax him into staying in the cage without freaking out. Eventually, I had just decided to try something a bit unorthodox, and put one of my stuffed animals into the cage. That calmed him down. I warily turned my head to look at the cage. Basil was still there, curled up on top of the stuffy. Groaning I got to my feet and walked over to the cage, tapping the bars a bit to get his attention. Basil looked up at me, he was wary, but curious. Giving him an encouraging smile, I pulled a little treat out of my pocket, bell pepper, and slid it through the bars. Slinking over, he sniffed at the treat, took a little bit, looked like he was in deep though and then took it hole, into his wide mouth. He munched thoughtfully, and his expression made me laugh.

It's been almost three months, Basil has settled right into my little family. He actually spends more time on my shoulder than in his cage. He'll sit and read with me, go outside on nice days to enjoy the sun with me, and steal my snacks. He's even adjusted enough to create his own bad habit of chewing up my pencil's. We enjoy many of the same tastes and only disagree in the area of bed time. He's almost like a small child, sometimes I find myself forgetting that he's a rat and not a person, all the personality I first saw in this guy is all that, and more.

Why do you want to adopt?

I want to adopt Belu because he is first of all a beauty. A one of nature’s colors, deep as blue, that seem to be only coordinated with the crisp cream of her coat. Her red eyes to me remind me of my past guinea pig whom I loved and had the same red like shade in her eyes. Overall there female here is one that I truly hope can journey into my arms and stay in my life forever. In the bottom of my heart he seems like the perfect rat to add to my family of virtual pets.

Rat Name: Belu
Personality:

Intelligence: Belu has been gifted with a priceless treasure called intelligence which allows undeniable confidence and knowledge into her own being. Knowledge is the bases of her ideals and motions. There is the most important quality that He has always known; without it He would be nothing; survival of the fittest.

Spectator: First impressions are meaningful in her eyes; something inside of her allows such judgment to acknowledge her decisions based on anything. Nonetheless Belu will make sure that whatever idea that crosses her mind has been evaluated for the best result. If it doesn’t fit quota forget it.

Curious: Possibly a flaw in her workmanship Belu is curious; though her is true He hides it from the world. The world must face her strong self; no sense of non-intelligence. On the note there allows for her to obtain knowledge at a more quickened pace, but it’s still invisible to her own self.

Courageous: Strong powerful muscles allow her to be confident in her fighting skills, which also injurers her courageous vibe. It’s in her will to save what needs to be saved, no exceptions. Thus there is a positive trait the risk is sometimes outweighs the benefits which only allows her to stay away, or back down.

Serious: Rarely emotion is achieved. Her serious tone reveals a clear and knowledgeable mind. Plus it adds to the clearing of her peaceful center. There tends to be more frequent due to her timid history or nature.

Quirks:

Hides frequently; Belu can't help but not want to get involved even though her intentions are to fight as well as her skills that are revealed to be in keen condition.

Sleeps a lot; Belu may be a tuff right in your face kind of rat but that doesn't make up for it with her tired worn out appearance. It seems that Belu always wears himself out in the end and just ends up sleeping...

Evil Eye(s); It happens with all rats once in a while, but Belu is an aggressive rat whom doesn't like anyone's company. He might as well be left alone from the society of all the rats that seem to be around. But her aggressive nature doesn't seem to linger in the presence of humans especially the one who he loves.

What do you plan on doing with your rat?

If I'm lucky to receive there one of a kind rat I will be RPing him in a rat rp that I plan on developing. She will go on my site for my rat rescue on which I'm starting soon and she will be drawn all the time. Her personality will become more in depth as she starts to reveal herself to me as well as give me the courage and confidence to write about him XD.

Why do you want to adopt? I absolutly love him and think he would look great with Two-Bit and Rick.

Rat Name: Sticky

Personality: (Likes, dislikes, how they react to people, other rats, etc.) He loves to eat avocado, munch on ice cubes, and play around with my pet turtle. Two-Bit and Rick are his best pals and Two-Bit is pretty much a father to him. Sticky would do anything to get dirty and he loves to climb, he has even learned to climb down going head first, a skill he loves to show off. Though he may seem plain, he has a personality that will just blow you away. He is extreamly out going, and likes to flirt with girls though he is still so young, I really hope he doesnt become a player like Rick. He always tells people to step off, he is just being stupid though. He hates to see people upset. He loves to ride around on the back of my cat Rigby, and he hates getting licked by my dog with extreamly baad breath Ginger.

Quirks: (Little things like "Enjoys sleeping on her back", "Loves hoarding candy wrappers", etc.) He loves to steal teeth from underneath my little sisters pillow, which i find disgusting. He loves to play with lasers, he likes to swim around with the turtle. He likes to eat bubbles though I really try to keep him away from them. He loves honey soooooooo much, he gets it all over himself when he eats it, thats one of the main reasons his name is Sticky.

What do you plan on doing with your rat? (Roleplay, Make art of, Hoard art of, etc.) He will be my new baby, I think I might actually make him my main character. I have always wanted a rat named Sticky, I found out recently I perfer solid coloring to other coloring paterns, and when I saw him, he was perfect, I absolutly adore his fur color. When I get my first real rat I hope he looks like Sticky here. I will make plently of art of him.

I do not plan on getting rid of him haha, I would die without him, but if something would happen, I would A. Return him to you, B. Give him to his best friend, and C, Have a competetion and choose someone I have talked to/trust/and respect, to own him.
