i remember asking this before, but I don’t remember a response so I’m so sorry if this is a repeat hg.. would a trait of, say, a “winter coat” be allowed? I know colour change and such is considered legendary, but say it was of entirely natural purposes. a gradual change that can’t be controlled. what rarity would that fall under? would that count as gene splicing? magical powers? a nonrarity or fur edit?? simply not allowed?

second, if you were to apply a fur edit to a hairless kalon, would you be able to design markings and such in accordance to their existing colour palette?

would a different coloured pupil be comsidered an uncommon trait? e.g. a red iris with a purple pupil
or is it a non-rarity trait? ;v;

if the pupil is not edited from its original shape then a colored pupil would be a non-rarity trait ^^

say you buy a "tail edit" item and use it on a merkalon to edit is fish tail, is it possible or would you need like some kind of legendary edit for that?

I don't own a legendary kalon I'm just asking for the sake of my curiosity.

you cannot change a merkalons tail, other then the color of it, with a tail edit and as of right now there are no type of legendary edits available or in discussion. ^^

a “winter coat” esk trait would be a legendary gene splicing trait as it is changing color and kalons do not change their fur/coat naturally during the seasons!

as for the fur edit, everything would stay the same for the kalon (colors and designs) they would just have fur/a fluffier physique to them. hope these answered your questions!! ^^

as long as the myo has not been made or approved yet, then you are free to do so ^^ However, if it is a made design then you are not allowed to ^^

To add on to this, are we allowed to sell unmade MYOs we've bought with pets/C$?

no you may not, only points/USD bought myos may be sold

Hello! Just a quick note that a rule has been added to the main page to help clarify and solidify our stance on selling designs:

You may not use the Kalon base to sell designs for the species. You may only offer your services to create a design for another user, but you cannot pre-make designs for profit. Designs purchased on other bases may be transferred into the species as Kalons with the appropriate MYO level so long as the original design also allows transfers.

This includes Artist Entries. These can no longer be sold, as the artist entry lines must only be used for applying as a guest artist for the species. However you can still make them into MYOs if the artist allows it!
