Hey everyone! Hope you all enjoyed pride month and are looking forward to Art Fight 👀

Huge thank you to Rathalos and River Song for joining us as GAs last month!! Both of them made such fun and expressive cats and it was a joy to have them on the team <3

As promised, we have a brand new mechanic to release for Stars: prompts!! 🎉 This has been something I've wanted to add for ages and am very excited to finally release 👀 Prompts participation earns you stardust, exp, and item rewards as you gradually progress towards milestones. It's designed for both art and writing and to be friendly to lore changes! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in our Discord or reach out to a helper ^^

• For the initial release, only territory prompts and the gifting challenge are available! More prompt sets will be released over time
  
• Please note that Art Fight attacks do not count towards the gifting challenge!

Other small changes:

• Our FAQ was reorganized and rules updated. Our intro post will be revamped shortly!
  
  • Our policy on editing existing cats has been added to the rules to more easily find
  • We've updated our policy on readopting banned/deleted users' cats to be more lenient/fair. These changes do not apply retroactively, but are rather our policy moving forward
• PluralKit guidelines have been added to the server, for informative purposes and to help those using the bot feel more comfortable! 💖
• The off-Oekaki PSD was updated! Until Mythz is back to update the CS post, you can find the new PSD in the "transparent PNGs" Google Drive folder linked on the off-Oekaki MYO page ^^
• ethium has retired as a writer and we wish her well <3

We're currently prepping for our staff month activities and a mid-month update and look forward to sharing those with you soon! 👀

hi stars !! we hope you’re enjoying artfight season & our prompts release from earlier this month! this time of year is also really busy for our staff team (especially artists); please be patient with us as we go through summer together 🩷✨

we also have a few updates for everyone:
★ have you seen our new explore cats cover? 👀 you can now find random kitties in explore! every patrol you send out has a small chance of finding a random cat. previously, this was given out as a MYO ticket. but now, you can choose between receiving a random pre-designed cat or an equivalent MYO ticket to design your own cat! select your preference under the "random cat or MYO" section of our updated explore code c: staff will also be releasing kitties as the month goes on, so keep an eye out !!

★ we've clarified the use of revive & immortality items here too

• revive items reset a cat to 100% health, 0% hunger and are no longer sick! any previous posts of rests will no longer be needed. it essentially "resets" a cat's patrol stats completely c:
  
  
• if you're using immortality items, we now require at least one cat on patrol to be not immortal

★ with the release of our prompt mechanic, we've clarified guideline #6 in explore's how-to-play section! as always, explore writing can be about anything, but the main focus should be on the cats in the "patrollers" section. general lore can be submitted to the prompts && check out the quest board to develop your other cats!

★ our art scale has also received some updates to make things easier to understand ‼️

★ staff month activities are also on the (august) horizon! 🎨📚
