When you breed kalons, do you get to keep one (for free, or for payment..?)*
*If yes, if you breed with another person's kalon, do you each get one?
You don't have to pay to keep any of the kits!
What happens with the kits is ultimately up to the owners of the parent kalons to decide - usually, if there's multiple kits (and multiple owners involved in the ticket), fates are discussed between the two owners (although fate discussion usually happens as well if there's one kit but multiple users involved in the ticket). If you're the only owner in the ticket, you can keep all the kits in your batch if you want, or keep one and gift the rest/readopt the rest nvn

I know there can't be incestuous relationships, but does that still count if they are OOC as well as them having completely no relationship with the others born, does that still count as incestuous? So basically no matter what it's incestuous...?
No matter if it's an IC or OOC breeding, if they're blood related they cannot breed. We follow the general guideline of only 2nd Cousin relationship and beyond is allowed, and here's a helpful chart you can use to determine relations! c:

I have a hypothetical breeding question! a user has an auto-pass item and two winged kalons involved in a breeding: parent 1 has bat-like wings and parent 2 has feathered ones. does the ticket have to specify which parent's wings are being passed on to the kits, or would the potential for both kinds of wings to show up in the batch exist?

The trait being rolled would be wings so it wouldn't matter which parent since it's the same trait, it would be up to the artist which type of wing style they went with 'v'

little white lies. wrote:just a quick question;;
would we be able to shape the muzzles of a kalon? like make it more beak-like if we wanted a more birdlike kalon?
"Kalon muzzles cannot be edited to change the length, shape, etc. This includes the nose. The only exception is matching the line thickness to your style, but everything must remain the same look."
