Nope! You can use them for breeding and such as-is, but they can be transferred to new lines through the customs + transfers page if you want. There will be a limit, though, so artists don't get overwhelmed xD

Nah, you don't need to do that! If you'll want to use your founder for breeding in V3 though, you will need to have them stored somewhere with updated slots, but it doesn't matter where
