Rolling off of this, will the C$ shop ever reopen? c: It was very fun to participate in it, and I'd love to be able to save up for next year if this happens regularly.

Is there any other way to get a Kalons besides going to the adopts?
Cause by the time I get to the beauty,over 50 somethings posts are there.

Are we allowed to transfer non-Kalon designs into kalon customs? (obviously considering the fact that we would be the owner of the design and have permission from the artist or course?)

Also, would adding freckles be allowed? If not, would it count as a non-rarity trait so it could be added?

if a nursery artist accepts a batch, and it's been three weeks since then and they still haven't
posted the batch, and the person who's breeding their kals would like to switch artists, would the cooldown
restart, or would the person breeding still be able to breed after the first three weeks ?

Are you allowed to revamp a kalon growth or custom if you don't like the way it was done before, such as fix up lines and stuff? I might want to revamp one since I don't like the way I did the tail lines. It would be the same style tail and colors, just differently done to make it smoother.

Customs are allowed revamps with permission from myself or Wicced!Witch, but they must not have been bred before. Growths can only be relined on the same reference you have with the same permission standards. c:

Yes, it closes at the end of this year. It is definitely something we will consider bringing around again though!
Perhaps an annual sort of opening. ^^

back with another question,

lets say you see a kal and its not a partner comp, but you and this other person have similar ideas. would you be able to enter the comp together, so you could both earn coowner rights to it?

I would suggest asking the artist who's running the competition! They may have different rules for entry so it's best to go to them directly if you're allowed to enter together or not.

If a kalon had glow on its horns, but you use an edit remover to get rid of the horn, would the glow stay? So there's just a faint glowy line where the horns used to be? Or does the glow go too? :0c

Since glow is it's own trait, and if the horns was the only place the glow was, I would say the glow is then transferred to the head/hair and not removed. So if the horns are removed it would be acceptable to slightly modify the glow to make it less of a "here was a horn" outline so long as it stays generally the same.

Is it allowed to cancel a trade to the kalon shop? I'm not interested in my purchase anymore.

Also I had a kalon grown and his pupils aren't on the growth but he doesn't have a pupil edit. Can I draw in the pupils?

I am a little confused on the second question. In what way are the pupils missing? Could you message me with the specific Kalon please?

I know the normal artist search is closed- but is the nursery artist search?

As we're currently not looking in to hiring additional help, generally all searches are considered closed at this time.

Not a super important or pressing matter, but I was wondering if there could ever be an autopass item specifically for less rare traits?

Basically I completely understand why autopass items are so expensive. Of course they will be pricey when they can give you a bunch of legendary kals. It might be nice to have a cheaper option though specifically for maybe traits uncommon or rare and under? I'd love to be able to guarantee at least one future kit with a specific tail one of my kals has, but it's completely infeasible when the prices are locked to prevent legendary flooding. :,D

(totally just a suggestion, you guys are doing a great job running everything, I just think this might help some people)

Kalons are won through competitions, but we do have Customs that can be purchased and made by yourself or another artist, or HM customs which come from saving up the honorable mentions received. There's also readoptions going on through community members re-homing their Kalons. c:

That should be fine! So long as all the permissions are received from the designer you can definitely transfer it into a Kalon, but it cannot be transferred back out unless under special circumstances and permission from myself and Wicced!Witch. As for freckles they would be considered part of the design and not a trait, so they cannot be added on to an existing Kalon.

The cooldown goes from the original acceptance of the ticket. So it would not restart if you switch artists.

Maybe we should have a thread for members searching for their HM customs? I notice a lot of people asking for them get lost in the fanclub thread. And personally, I've PMed multiple staff members and they're either closed to requests, or simply read it the request and never respond.

Even as a staff member myself, it often feels awkward to pm a random artist and ask for something which can or can-not be free, so having either a place where artists list if they are accepting any/if it's free or and AND/OR to post your looking for an artist would be great. ;w;
