I have some more questions about dolls!

Are the able to eat? Or is it a choice? If they can, do they have organ systems? i.e. Blood, lungs and nervous systems?

Do/can dolls have pets? Like the normal kinds that they find in dollhouse dimensions or do they have pets from 'real' life, like insects and rodents?

It says that shadows can't change their size, but are shadows able to change shape? Nothing drastic of course, but small things like shifting their facial features or turning their tail into keys.

Read the Info post. Yes it's long and not very well organized, but both your answers are right there. They feel pain and such through magical purposes, for physically, they are merely dolls.

Yes, they can, actually! They can have a pet found in another dimension, or a pet from the normal world. If the pet is small enough, that is~

You cannot simply give your shadow special powers - only some can transform, and it would say so when you go to adopt the doll. Even in their ghostly-er form, I they can't just transform a tail into a key if they need a key. (though that would be helpful when you need it, haha) And if they have a designated facial expression, and it's not said that they can change it, then no, that shadow can't.
