"Are you sure this is going to work?" wide, pale and almost ghostly looking eyes search beautiful rosy red ones, as they began to finish what seemed like the last few petals of their plan together. Usually, Yu's never been much of a hard worker, preferring to flick things at Amorette in favor of actually getting any work done, much to her annoyance, but with something much bigger at stake (more like someone he sincerely wanted to impress), this was a different story. He's merely given a hum as his answer as Amorette continued her way around the now larger looking room, throwing confetti into the straggling corners of the room and checking the hung up decorations.
The day had been a long one, one filled with decorating Yu and Jo's small apartment with ribbons and confetti and all things pink-- in short, all the things that could have been Yu's worst nightmare (not to mention the clean up afterwards). But the man had to admit, his apartment didn't look half bad like this, even as he stood at the doorway with his arms crossed and hair shadowing his face. Jo's friends were supposed to be keeping her away from home until midnight- when this entire... plan was supposed to be revealed, and to be frankly honest, Yu couldn't wait.
As Yu gazed at his (horrifically pink) decorated apartment, he shifted his gaze first to the reds and pinks hanging off the walls, to the blood red rose petals Amorette was currently sprinkling in every direction on the bed, from the doorway. "Is this really necessary" he whines. Clearly unhappy with what he has to clean up after the single day was over. "Kalontine's Day isn't even that special, why do we need a special day to tell the people we love that... well, we love themmmm" he groans, stumbling towards the red satin laid mattress and then flopping down without a care.
He digs his face into the unwrinkled mattress and sends the rose petals flying, for only a second before he yelps in surprise and finds himself against the carpeted floor, a huff coming from the other kalon in the room as she makes a face of disapproval at him. "I just made that! Stop ruining my decor, if you aren't going to help" she reprimands with flaring nostrils. Yujin just groans and lays against the floor, his hair beyond ruffled, but he doesn't care.
Theres a sharp nudge against his side just as he closes his eyes and Yujin jumps again, for the second time that evening. "Get up, its almost 12 and you need to stop looking like you just rolled on the dirty ground or something" the sharp voice sounds and again, Yujin groans for the umpteenth time that night. "But-" "Now, Yujin"
There's a pause. And then some rustling and then Yujin's bumbling towards his and Joanna's shared bathroom to fix his hair and freshen up, a fresh outfit in tow. He looks at himself in the mirror and can see the ruffles of his hair where his bun had become untied and messy, his bands which stuck in all directions, and his cloth which were now wrinkled with darker specks (presumably dust) clinging to it. Overall, it was easy to say he- "Hurry up, stop staring at yourself in the mirror"
A wince. Yu quickly closes the door and changes out of his outfit, reties his hair and brushes out his free bangs and strands of straggling hair. He turns in the mirror, before the subtle click of the apartment door catches his attention. As if his drowsiness and fatigue just magically disappears, he suddenly feels a childlike excitement course through him. Joanna's home.
With a grin unconsciously growing on his face at the thought of Jo's reaction, he dashes out of the bathroom, towards the decorated room and the lights are already off. Amorette is one step ahead of him, even as he slips into the room and hears Jo call out. Its 12 0'clock, and Yu's ready. He feels restless and has an almost gleeful happiness coursing through him. He knows he has the stupidest grin on his face, but Yujin cant stop himself, even as he hides at the door way. He's shaking, he can hear Amorette giggling at his excitement and he sends her a glare.
