I have a question abut what's bolded and put in italics above. What if the Kia is in the adult stage when adopted? Wouldn't they start out at 2 years and then the age starts adding on to the 2 years then (unless you gave the Kia an age in the form to adopt)?

EDIT-Another question, when you gift, the age of the Kia doesn't go back to zero does it?

Okay, I searched at the first post, the nursery, and searched it the search bar but nothing came up. It is probably a question someone might have asked a couple of times before, but can you own two Kiamaras (boy or girl or whatever) and have them have a relationship, then become mates and have a baby? To state more clearly, can you own two Kiamaras and let them be in a relationship instead of another owner? Or is that not allowed? And no, not like instantly become mates and have babies, but by the rules. I will delete/edit after it's answered.

Sorry if it was answered somewhere.

Also, it says "variation from the names would be allowed"

Well, I'm confused. Would one actually have to sound different to count? Such as, instead of Chastity you have Chasity?

Because I was going to name kia 346 Echos, and there's a Kiamara named Echo. Would I have to get permission or would this count as a variation?

Hello everyone, I'm afraid today I have some rather controversial and unfortunate circumstances to share with you;
I regret to inform you all, but moony won't be doing kiamara 350.
This has been mulled over and talked about at great length with the rest of the staff. But due to past comments from moony, which have been seen as rude along with being disregarding of staff authority, ....my hand has been forced; moony has been banned and 350 will be done by a different artist. Though I hate to see moony's work go to waste, her attitude and general rudeness are something we would never tolerate in another kiamara community member, and given that we don't want to be seen allowing someone to get away with this, but not other people (because we want everything to be fair and equal) we unfortunately came to the conclusion that this had to be done.

I'm very sorry to those who were looking forward to moony's design, but when we do get to kiamara 350 I promise it'll still be great.

So for anyone who's been borderline rude or challenging the authority of staff lately....just be warned that we are beginning to crack down harder on this, and penalties WILL be handed out depending on the severity of your actions.

If guest artists are good enough, can they be a permanent staff member?

Isn't kind of rude/not nice to be putting out there the reason moony will not be doing the kiamara?
Especially in such a popular topic :P

It is extremely rare for a guest artist to become an official artist unless they are kind in the community as well as showing their love for the species. At the moment since there is an artist competition running, no guest artists will become official unless they have won in the competition.

Due to the curiosity of the community its pretty obvious people would have yelled at the staff if no reason was given, since the fact that some people are close friends with moony. To not make people start to make up rumors that can cause a big mess, apple decided to be honest so there is no confusion in the subject.

As for the questions asked before Apple's post:

Of course it is allowed, unless they are related or pps then no. If they are both adults, go ahead ^ ^ Some people dislike roleplaying or dramas that occur, and others dislike it for other reasons. Its completely fine if you want two of your own kiamaras together, its not that its against the rules, its just that many people prefer to interact with other users to see how two different minds can interact.

Due to Echos being very close to Echo, i would suggest you talking with the owner of Echo to make sure they are ok with it, since the two names are very close to each other with just the difference of one letter. But for future reference, a normal example of a similar name being fine is the names "Tom" and "Thomas", that example will not need acceptance of the other owner unless it bothers them greatly.

vocal wrote:I have a question

I bought a curling iron at the event. How can I have an artist use it?

You PM the artist that created the kiamara that you own and ask them if they have the time to customize the hair of the kiamara. Link them to an example of the hairstyle or write a detailed description so they can have an idea of what you want. If they are busy you can either wait or notify them if they can hand over the job to a different artist that is open to the task.

If the kiamara is an adult, the rule does not apply when it comes to growth, and only applies to breeding/mate rules. Since it is fully grown, you do not need to worry about it "growing up" due to it reaching the final stage.

For the second question; no it does not go back down to zero (if you are talking about child/teens, adults do not apply as specified above). It would be unfair to wait an extra 1-2 months than the normal time it takes for the child/teen to grow up to the next stage.
