I'd like to add that the user is not ever required to age their bean and that having your bean as a child for a long time does not allow you to skip or speed through teen stage.

Some people still are confused about sibling aging together so I will also add that it is no longer required for twins to age at the same time and has never really been required for siblings to age in order, some owners just prefer to.
