day 4 writing prompt:
dove likes to stay home. she doesn't like seeing the public displays of affection outside, and will give her friends cards and chocolate in advance. she's not really a hateful person when it comes to valentine's day, she just doesn't see the appeal as she doesn't have a significant other. dove usually takes the time to treat herself, however, and will usually pig out with her accumulated chocolate and ice cream while watching a movie.

celeste and her papa finn sit on the couch and binge watch gilmore girls all night! after sage and finn are done gushing over each other, it's celeste's turn<3
in the background you can see the kalontines day 'present' celeste drew with her crayons on the wall. sage tried to scrub it off. it didn't work. there's also a drawing celeste did at school of her family<333

celeste took another truffle out of the fallen bag on the coffee table. her stomach growled fiercely, warning her do not eat that. if you eat that, I will vomit. I repeat, I will - too late. the truffle was already down her throat, warming her irritated sugar coated mouth. with a shrug, celeste curled her knees up into her snuggie, stretching the already loose cloth and warming herself with her tails. finn was curled around her, eyes dim with sleep and stupefication. lorelai gilmore's loud voice echoed from the tv as she argued with her mom, celeste chuckled at a smart remark she told her. finn grinned, and said to celeste with a giggle, " don't tell your mom about that one. " celeste smiled up at her father, eyelids straining to stay open. just stay awake until this episode is over. the message repeated over and over in her head, and she determinedly craned her neck to see the tv. finn's tail tightening around her was the last thing celeste felt before she passed out, head flopping onto crinkled chocolate wrappers strewn about on the cushions.

"Come on! Come on! We gotta find another store!" Amorette shouted as she dragged Truffle from the flower shop they had just been in.

Truffle, sighed, a bit disgruntled at being dragged to another store by her friend. Amorette was a bit of a fanatic for Valentines day and Truffle wasn't very concerned about it but she agreed to help her with her plans. And by plans she meant buying out every red rose and every white rose from every florist in town for whatever reason. So far they had been to ten shops and if Truffle's calculations were correct there was only one more shop and then their day would be done. Truffle sighed as she followed Amorette into the shop, cringing at the sight of the red and white that commemorated the day into history. She heard Amorette talking to the florist, while looking at all the flowers, sighing as she decided she had had enough, her arms hurt from the bags and she was tired from being dragged everywhere on a day she didn't like.

"Amorette?! I'm gonna just head outside to wait!" Truffle called before walking towards the door, she stopped as her eyes were drawn to the most beautiful flower she had ever seen, it was a lily, that she was certain was, but anything else was lost on her. She sighed, tearing her eyes from the flower and walked outside. it had only been a couple minutes when her friend walked out, a smile on her face.

That's everything I need, thank you for coming our with me again, I know it's not your favorite day but I appreciate it! So here..." She smiled brightly when she whipped her hand from behind her back and revealed the flower she had stopped to stare at!

Truffle gave her a soft smile, before accepting, and saying" This might have been the best Valentines day preparation day I've ever had. And I spent with with a great friend and I wouldn't have it any other way."
