I don't understand the ranking of the rarities. What does no element or water element do? In the very rare it seems to include genetic markings but other than that it doesn't seem to matter... help?

you werent the only one with questions about the elements cx before becoming a mod, i too, was confused on this matter as well </3 but dont worry !! im here to explain to the best of my abilities !! i do hope this helps.

the rankings of rarities and what not is primarily based on their element and at times their build, or mutations and what not (if any) the goblin gators' element is pretty much exactly what you would expect/think. just like in say,,, the legend of korra, or avatar: the last airbender (pffht), they have control over that element. whether it be simple manipulation or full blown manipulation and what not, if the goblin gator is a water element, it would mean that they have control over their element (e.g; moving water, lifting/levitating water, manipulating water, etc...) i guess it would be how common the element is? for its rarity. im not entirely sure. other elements could be rarer or less abundant, hence the higher rankings of its rarity. for example, on the front page, the water element is listed as common, and water is quite abundant in the environment. fire would be a less abundant thing, so it would move it up to the rare column and so on and so forth... at times, it doesnt all depend on the element for the gg to be ranked. sometimes different mutations like limb growth or limbs missing, that it would be considered VR or anything else. all and all, the elements are just a fun thing we have here at goblin gators !! all times, the artists will list which elements you can pick for your goblin gator if you are trying out, or there will be a set element. no elements is also pickable, since its just a plain goblin gator with no manipulation skills of anything qwq it really depends on what the artists allow you to choose, like for example; they list the element has to be either common through rare. you can pick any common,uncommon or rare element listed in the rarities section on the front post c: deer lorde did i type a lot. oh whale pffht. but i do hope this large, intimidating wall of text helped you in any way qwq if you have any further questions, dont hesitate to pm any of the staff, as we'd love to help !! me in general, i try to thoroughly explain things, hence this giant text |DD
