I'm no mod, but push comes to shove if you end up waiting a few months for your RU, one could always ask another artist directly through PM or post a form on the overdue RU's thread. It may take a while, as artists have lives outside of closed species and Chickensmoothie in general.

By Plumerians that are under numbers that were never made, I believe Swiftalu meant Plumerians like #559 - #564, which were MAIN numbers that were never created. Not RU or nursery batch numbers and things like that.

And as Char said before, ALL OWED THINGS SUCH AS RU's and nursery batches will still be created. They will not be forgotten.
Everyone who has things owed to them might have to wait a while patiently, it's just how things are.

That is in fact exactly what I meant, Lions, RU's/NB's will still be done but main numbers will not unless Char has decided otherwise. If you have an overdue RU/NB from an inactive artist then please contact Char!

Raleigh is hard at work so please be patient!

has not been bred since and the nursery is, well, closed. I was wondering if I'd still get the runner-up (since in theory it is a RU, but it is also a nursery batch and there's a very low chance of those happening in the future) or if I won't get it because the species is closed.

While they did promise you a runner up at the same time they're not an official artist. The 'runner up' that you were promised was more or less a promise held on the holder of the competitions capabilities on whether or not they'd get another breeding for the couple that had Nursery Batch 281. ^^;

yeah, I was just wondering about that for a little bit and while I can't say I'm not disappointed, I do understand why it can't/won't be done. the promise that I would get the next breeding wasn't theoretically one that would for sure be followed through, and I was a little curious if it would count as an actual runner-up or just something possible like a consolation prize. It was more or less just a little thing that popped up while I was looking through my posts for something. Thanks for your input!!

haha, i remember entering for #50 when i was younger
sad to see them go, i was planning to get at least one but i suppose i'll try at the readoptions rip
i wasn't too active, i just kinda hid and entered the contests every once in a while

Always check the Fanclub for readopts! Most users advertise them there ^^
