marking to know when more founders slots open, i wants me some panthers

we love the look of these guys!! :0c we did want to ask a few questions tho:

- once custom slots are paid for, are off oekaki designs ok as far as myos go?
- can players design their own founders or must they be official artists for founders?
- will there be visuals of specific colors in the genetics guide when its fully set up, or are these standardized colors we can find elsewhere?

1. I had not previously considered the possibility of Off-Oekaki designs! I have deliberately set up Panthera so that all designs will be posted here, under the main thread, allowing all Panthera to be assigned an ID Number in continuous order and preventing any confusion as to what counts as an "Official" Arkylian Riding Panther (since any official ARP would have an Oekaki Thread that was a direct color in of the Main Panthera Thread). In that vein, an Off-Oekaki design would be allowed, BUT the owner would still need to make a "color-in" of the main thread (even if it is just a sketch/cover of your character) so that the MYO can be given it's ID and there is no confusion on if it is an Official Panther or not.

2. Currently, Founders may only be designed by official artists. There is no plan to allow Founders to be MYO. However, Founders are not a requirement for you to participate in Panthera- you can earn Custom Slots, try out for Adopts, and earn our ARPG currency at any time! You also do not need to be a non-owner to get a pair of Founders, you can claim them at any point.

3. Yes, the Genetics Guide will get some visual references soon! I am currently working solo on this project, and wrote up all the Panthera threads over the course of three days, so I just haven't had the time to draw up the visual references yet. I will also be expanding some of the Genetics Guide to further elaborate on different ways genes can present (such as the fact that the White Spotting/Piebald gene can present in forms similar to horse paint genes (Like Sabino, Overo, Tobiano, or Rabicano), mouse and rat white patterns (Such as Hereford, Belted, Hooded, or Masked), or, of course, dog or cat-like white spotting.)

thank you for being willing to accommodate off oekaki designs!! we have no problem still posting under the main thread for an id + consistency, we just use mobile exclusively + using chicken paint for more than the very basics is a bit hellish for us to say the least TwT weve been in other oekaki species before that have provided psd files for off oekaki which was incredibly helpful, but we also understand if there arent plans to include that if theres concern w it being used for unofficial panthers or if itd take a lot of extra work!!

were glad to hear founders can still be claimed at any point when artists are open + that there will be a visual guide in time, + its incredibly impressive youve put all this together solo so quickly!! the genetics were a little overwhelming at first but were honestly fascinated at this point, we would love to learn more + participate + are excited to see how panthera grows!! :3
