I'm sorry if this is spam or has already been answered, but I have a question about re-adopting older Kias. If you win one, are you allowed to color it in on the newer lines because it's new to you? Not a revamp, but a transfer to get a better ref?

sorry i missed all the announcements, but why are the amount of kias released trying to be slowed down?

I terribly SUCK at coloring in things because my lock alpha doesn't work on my computer for some stupid reason...I was wondering if somebody who wasn't entering the kiamara 100 contest if they could color this to have kia #100's design. You will have the credit of coloring the drawing in, I will have the credit to making the lines and Apple will have credit over being the creator of kiamaras and the design creation....I already talked with Apple about this and she was fine with it.

I'll probably want to have another mod verify this, but my understand of Apple's intentions for this species is that they are /wild/ animals. Meaning that despite their personalities and such, they do not act like humans (ie live in houses). Also, with that said, I don't imagine they're very pet-like. ^.^ I might have confused you a bit, so keep reading and I shall clarify. <3

As for glasses, it's entirely possible they would /need/ them, but they may not be able to /obtain/ then. Additionally, there are only a handful of fully blind kias, but it is possible. Finding a pair of glasses in a forest isn't a very likely occurrence, wouldn't you say? ^.^

And for the issue of clothing, that has to do vastly with the form of the kia. Meaning, as quads (the kias themselves as a canine-like species) they do not wear clothing. They sometimes may wear accessories, such as scarves or necklaces, but they do not wear full clothing. Think about it like a dog. You might put a bandana around their neck, but they don't wear pants. However, when they are in their anthro (semi-human) forms, clothing would be sort of socially expected. Anthro RPing isn't against our rules, but we don't generally think it's the way to RP them. The Kia Ball was given a special exception, and if you take a look at the into, you'll notice that there were some magical circumstances behind the kias turning into human-like beings. ;3

Generally speaking, think of Kiamaras as mainly wild animals who are more mentally aware than others. They are capable of communication and deep thought, but do not walk on two legs and build elaborate homes. They are a four-legged species that mainly lives in the wild.

Edit: All the stuff I said above is more of a generalization of the species. There are exceptions to every rule. We have Kias who've grown up in castles, who wear glasses, and who can write. At this point in time there's really no specific way that a kiamara absolutely /has/ to act or dress. All behavior and choices are fine, to my understanding, so long as they comply with the set of rules in the first post. Don't take the word of this one mod, though, ask some others. And ask the community over in the fanclub; they should be helpful.
