I have a baby JMD from the first nursery thread, and I haven't gotten an adult reference, and the jewel color hasn't been confirmed yet. Can I just do the reference myself with my own lines {since I'm planning on doing that for all my JMDs} and choose the color of his jewel? I have asked the artist what color back when I got him, and I did not get a reply.

Also, a couple of my JMDs' references are shaded, and I cannot get their color codes with the shading, so I've asked the artists to add me repeatedly, and they still haven't. I've been added to three of my five normal adopts JMDs, and I've asked each of the other two artists if I could be added about two or three times, what should I do? They're not responding to my messages, and it's getting quite annoying, 'cause all I want to freaking do is get the damn hex codes. >.<'

I'm sorry, I'm just not happy right now, and I just need a solution to these problems. u.u

I'm very sorry about your troubles, unfortunately you can not make your own official refs.^^;
You may pick the jewel color (must be one of the parents jewel colors)
PM me and I'll do the best I can to resolve this, please restrain yourself from profanity on the main thread though ^^;

May I ask why?
I just need a reference to fit with all the accessories and such, and on the official lines it's just too small for everything to fit. It was just going to be for personal use, and not really 'official', just an easier way to get hex codes and information of the JMD like personality and such. Really just done in MS Paint, since the colors sometimes mess up when pasting an Oekaki drawing into Paint. I wasn't actually going to do color-ins of any other JMD, and like I said, I'd just use it for personal use. ^^;

And sorry about that; I was tired at the time, and a little frustrated over many things {not just what I said before, but a lot of things out of JMDs and adoptables in general}; couldn't really control what I was saying very well. ^^;
And sorry if I sounded like I was yelling or demanding, I certainly did not intend for it to sound that way. ^^;

Really so we can just keep track of the number of JMDs; there will be new official refs along with the new nursery lines. You can of course always make your own personal references for them. They'll just still need to be on the official JMD refs as well. ^^
It's understandable we all get stressed out at times :3

umm if we have a JMD and we would like to make a runner up but it's from a custom design can we gift that "runner up" to some one or no.

Well overall, no one but artists are allowed to make runner ups.
And there will never be a custom runner up e.o
