I'm so sorry to keep going back on this, but unfortunately our need for more horses in competitions is greater than our need for population control... The limit on the number of horses per barn has officially been removed. It isn't fair to our older members, who have several horses that aren't able to show and yet can't get rid of them... So the limit has been relieved and you are now welcome to adopt as many horses as you'd like! I will, however, seize any horses that are uncared for, so don't get in over your head c: If you'd like to restrict yourself to a particular barn size, however, it's up to you ^^

By the way, we're having a rescue going on with several thoroughbreds, quarter horses, and maybe even a few paints and an appaloosa! Just remember the three rescues per person limit when you adopt c:

Yay! So its officially gone? Cool! So is the 3 rescue per person limit a day? Or like, forever, three is the ultimate limit, or only three rescues a day?

Three rescues per month, actually cx It's in the rules if you'd like more information ^^

Since there is no barn limit anymore, would I be able to get a refund on my recent barn expansion?

Hey Sydney, if you need some help organizing the shows, just pm me and i can help you sort out a good system :) The shows will always be a large task but when you get a rhythm going it should calm down and become a decent event.

I also think that the number of different shows that you can enter is very tasking. You have 2 shows per each discipline (which limits the number of competitors in each). So perhaps, you should instead of holding 2, hold one and then introduce the 2nd slowly and perhaps even maybe one local (or other) a week. Ie. All local shows open. But only Dressage is having a qualifier. This then can be controlled by say "To compete must have won at least 1 local show". This means more people in local shows, and more people in the qualifier too. Just one of my many suggestions :3

Oh, shoot, whoops! I forgot I left the invitationals open; I'd meant to have them closed just like that for the time being, actually! ^^' I guess I'll have to add an accepting entries/not accepting entries thing to each show, but I swear it was meant to run like that c: I was just going to add the ones that had joined the qualifier into the local shows when I saw it, hahaha -- my bad!

Also, we now have an injury system up and running, so starting today, be prepared for a few extra bills to help give our currency a purpose xD Treatment options can be found on the last RVEC post of the front page. I'm also going to set up a local show on the showing thread, so feel free to enter! Entries will close in a week ^^

I'd absolutely love the help! Really wish I could get one of my comp sci friends to generate a thing that would just generate it for me, ahaha xD Maybe I'll have to see about that... Hmm...
Oh, I like the idea of the local show qualifier thing! I'll definitely incorporate that ^^

Absolutely, no problem! Basically, you purchase an import using the form on the front page and post it here, specifying the breed, gender, and discipline, and then I create a horse with a random color, age, height, and attitude and with random stats that line up with what you chose for said horse ^^ It's almost like a custom except you can't actually dictate any markings or colors or attitudes and stuff like that, but it's a wise investment for breeders looking to get new blood into their program and don't mind color or competitors having a hard time finding a horse in their discipline ^^
