No it is not mandatory. It's there for the people who would like to interact with the community is all!

So I read through the customs portion of this thread, and didn't see anything on this subject, so I wanted to ask, do regular users (such as non-staff) have a limit to how many customs like MYO's and HM Customs you can have? Like a specific amount?

There's no limit to how many customs a person can own. They only factor into the 50 Kalon limit for all users!

if you bought / got a myo thru a trade / were gifted a myo, made it, and were unhappy with it say.. a month later, could you just.. change it completely? is that a thing?

We don't allow complete remakes. Revamps in the sense of altering a design/edits are approved on a case-by-case basis from either myself or Wicced!Witch and must have approval to do the revamp prior. These revamps are only for MYOs that were made by your or for you, meaning no customs you received in a trade/gifting. c:

Yes, you can make your MYO custom as a kit, where they will still follow the appropriate growth guidelines and must be approved by a staff member. You should also have this kit moved to the Customs thread once approved.

You can find a form on this thread here in order to officially gift Kalons.

You would PM a staff member and we will look over the growth for you! After it's approved, please log them on our Kalon Transfers and Off-Base Customs Thread.

No, it is not necessary for a Kalon to be transferred if you do not wish for them to be. But if you would like to transfer your Kalon, you can do so on our Kalon Growths and Transfers Thread! Transfers can be done by any user, but must be approved by staff. Please read all of our Growth/Transfer Guidelines beforehand! There is no real "benefit" of transferring asides from the cleaner lines and neater eye/paw/face reference.

Is it possible to like, add a legendary trait to a kalon without an edit item since there aren't any for it, with special permission from one of the owners? A trait such as magical abilities, not one that affects how the kalon looks at all.

aaaa question; if a kal has their eyes closed on their ref, can you make it so their eyes are open on the kal's ref without an item or would you need an edit item to do so? :'0 the kal im talking about specifically is this one!
