I'm sorry I've been severely inactive.
I took part in this because I thought it would be a good way to research horse training and riding methods, but over the summer I've started leasing a horse long-term (at least a year, probably longer) which I didn't realize I'd be doing when I signed up. (It wasn't even a possibility, I've been very lucky for things to work out the way they have) This horse is pretty green and as I want to do showjumping courses on him, I've spent most of the day, every day for the last month or two working on steering, aids, and finally, yesterday, our first course (which could have gone better, but he didn't hit any poles - quite a few refusals near the end though)

The result is, I suppose, that I don't have any time for this event anymore.
As always, the real life horse must come first, so I'll be dropping out.

Wow! So lucky! Don't worry, of course your new horse is more important. It sounds like a lot of fun. The only thing better than training a horse on the computer is training one in RL!

Would you like to keep your mustang, or would you like us to rehome it?

I can't exactly do much with my mare right now, but I would like to keep mine.

Alrighty! Feel free to continue to train her, even if the real competition is over. I am planning on having CWHR competitions just for the horses that participated in either of the 2013 or 2014 MM!

I feel terrible. I really wanted to work with my gorgeous mare more. Even after the competition, I will probably be posting things on her page, as I feel like I slacked off. My entry may still be a wip when judging time comes, but I do have some done on it, and would like to keep my mustang.

I will be closing this really early tomorrow morning... so I would suggest you get everything done today or tonight. I am planning on getting all the winners up in about five days.

Oh guys I just...uh...I feel horrible about not really doing anything with my mare...just uh...everything has been getting in the way lately. School, my horses, and everything around the house since I have had to basically take over the position of housekeeper since I Mom broke her ankle. I was really looking forward to this event and I just couldn't ever seem to have the time this year. ;-;

I hope I can keep her though, I do plan on trying to add things to her page after the event is over; when things (hopefully) settle down and I don't have to cook, clean, train/care for the horses, as well as feed all of my other animals.

I am super sorry... I didn't expect my summer to be jam packed with random things like a wedding and practice. After I did day 1, I accidentally deleted it so I have to start over with day 1. I hope I can keep King, and I'll continue to work with him and finish him.

I know, me too. I was so pumped up and excited to get back into writing. I feel terrible I haven't been updating. D:
But I'm rushing to write this evening. I really want to finish! Even if it probably won't be that great because I waited til the last minute and rushed, I still want to finish this.
