I noticed something.
On alot of the contests/rps/chats, Jellybean Dragons will eat cake, cookies, other baked goods.
But JBDS don't eat eggs, as they dont eat meats, and eggs are used to make these goods...
So do JBDS eat meat or not? ovo

For the egg question and patterns, etc. Hiccup specifically stated on the HQ they aren't born with patterns, they grow into them eventually. (this is what bothered me about dana's beans egg)

So I would just suggest if you did do the eggs they would probably be solid colors. (A mixture of both parents base color)

A Jellybean Dragon comes to this world by hatching from a jellybean-shaped egg, exactly a month after it is laid by its mother. This special egg is roughly bigger than a rabbit, though it is definitely heavier than one. Something curious about JBD eggs is that the egg shell's color matches the fur color of the baby it keeps inside. A baby JBD is born with no markings, though a week after it hatches, it will start changing fur, and its markings will appear (unless it turns out that it is Plain). The proud mother and father will take turns to carry the baby around in his or her pouch when they travel. The parents will feed their child with fruits or insects they collect, usually soft and tender, though the baby will have no problem chewing harder food since it is born with a set of tiny, pointy teeth.

So this also means that you don't need to roleplay beans growing in teeth or drinking milk since I also totally missed they are born with teeth from birth. You learn something new everyday. //shot

Well idk if Hiccup meant the ''egg shell(?)''
or the actual bean. Cause I know for beans
they are born with only one or two colors,
and grow into the rest like you said. But I
don't think that applies to the actual egg
itself? Need clairification on that...

This has been answered several times. JBD's are Vegetarians, not Vegans. There is a very distinct difference between them. Vegans do not eat any bi-product being it be dairy, eggs etc. Vegetarians for most part still do. There are different types for both but I'm speaking in general. So Jbd's have been known to eat baked goods that contain eggs in them; this does not mean they will eat a steak. They are still vegetarians and not omnivores.
