okay so im pretty confused.. how can i adopt one?

If you own a purchased or won MY (Make Your own) Ticket, you can create your own kalon or have someone make it for you. Because the Artist Search kalons are premade, (but not official) with the artists permission you can use your MYO ticket to make them real/official if you ask them to keep their design, and they say yes.

You can not adopt them thrugh contests, they can only be kept with custom/MYO tickets which can be won in events or purchased in the Kalon shop.

Where can I access the Kalon shop? I'm sorry I'm new to the art forums of cs

There was a booth in the now-over summer event that sold them for the event currency, but as of right now the only way to obtain a MYO ticket is by either purchasing them through dA or by trading a Kalon for a MYO slot :0c (as Sammich said they can also be won through events when those are going on)

When a Kalon growth is finished does it count as your 3 week wait to breed/trade it or does that start when it gets approved?

I saw this in the description part about kalons on the front page, does this mean all legendary kalons can breathe underwater?

Also, not all legendary kalons are immortal, right?

Not all legendary Kalons haha, but the ones who have the power of breathing underwater as a trait. ^^
Same goes for immortality; it's counted as a magical power.
