Question! When it comes to revamping a kalon, do you have to get permission to do so? And if you do get permission, are you allowed to change really any of the design or just make it look better?

For example! I'm thinking about revamping Mikah, would I be allowed to add/remove some of the spots and stripes or just make it so that the hair edit looks nicer (without editing the hair style)?

Yes, any and all revamps need permission from either myself or Wicced!Witch. However, only Custom Kalons are available for revamps, so that Kalon unfortunately would not qualify as they are from a nursery batch. ^^;

Okay! Just to expand upon this, do adopted kalons (not readoptions, but adoptions under the main page) qualify for revamps? Or JUST customs? Sorry, just want to be sure!

HM customs may not be revamped; they're technically semi-customs where you give a palette/theme, and revamping them is getting around the "semicustom" aspect of them :0c

What color would the shine of a true albino kalon be? I want to know for an entry I'm making
Also would true albinism be considered a natural mutation edit or just a way of coloratione

Are you able to redo a growth? That you or another person has made. Since it's not technically changing the design at all since it is a growth. So I'd like to think that it wouldn't be as difficult as remaking a custom. I tried searching this thread for an answer but I couldn't find anything. And I'd really like to know ;; Thank you! <33

I do apologize for the frustration you have went through in the course of your stay here with Kalons and wish you the best of luck in eventually owning one if that is what you wish to still do. However, there have been many many measures taken and hoops jumped through to ensure that our species is as fair to everyone as it can be. Owners and non-owners alike all have the same chance at winning adopts save for those reserved for non-owners, and there have been many. We have the HM system as well for a reason, so that all your hard work is not always for naught. If you would like more guidance and input on forms and the like our community is more than estatic to help you, as am I.

We do appreciate your concern but comments of this nature are not to be posted in this thread as they serve no purpose other than guilt trip artist and community members that hoast such competitions.
If you have a concern about biased or unfair treatment or judging in a competition, please come to myself or Karmel and it will be dealt with immediately given adequate proof.
