Nursery Archivist
We currently need a Nursery Archivist, for this position you will record all the nursery litters! It will be a huge job please understand the amount of work that will be needed to go into this. You would get full staff perks but only after you actually show you are doing the work not just apply to get customs and what not!

username;;

(This username may be subject to change!)
why?;;
I really love these adoption-based original species, and I've always wanted to work for one somehow. With no computer to speak of, being an artist is out of the question. This is the next best thing, isn't it? I'd love to be a bigger part of this species, and I think I would really enjoy myself. I own 6 RPWs, and I've been part of this community for a little while. ;w;
I have some experience with adopts, since I run my own adoptable species over on Flight Rising, where I keep track of all adoptions, archiving, items, and organization. Though I know it's not the same thing, I at least have some sort of experience to speak of, which will hopefully help me out quite a bit if I get the job. :>
will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;;
I solemnly swear that I'll most certainly try my hardest to keep this nursery archive up and running at its best potential, and to get the job done right.
give me an example of how you would organize it;;
Here is what I think I'll do:

Nursery Batch 3.whatever (with a link)
Puppy Name • Which puppy it is (top left, bottom right, etc) • Gender • Owner
Puppy Name • Which puppy it is • Gender • Owner

And then I'll go ahead and add more if there are more than two puppies in one litter, and vice versa.
There will be about 50 litters per post.

why?;;
I have been itching to archive some of the RPWs lately, honestly. x) When it comes down to stuff like this, I really want it to be organized and neat. I would love to better the community by helping them out with finding their pups. I've had experience archiving adoptable species (here and here, most notably). I can work on any medium. I know BBCode, some HTML, some CSS, and very, very, very basic Javascript. It would be good practice (for tech class), too. Do note that I'm not a professional in coding/web developing.

will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;;
Yes, definitely. I'm on CS on a daily basis. I'm usually on for at least 2 1/2 hours per weekday and usually 5+ on the weekends.

give me an example of how you would organize it;;
Here's my explanation: The nursery archive would be broken up by each line set. I know for a fact that users stopped numbering the original lines, but I would assigned numbers to each of those nursery batches in the "#)" part. As for the second line set, it will be a lot more difficult because artists did nursery batches on their own threads. My first order of business would be to get all the nursery batches and dates for each and then chronologically order them. They would then get their numbers that way. The third and current nursery is using a number system, so that is fine except for the ones being done on the other lines, in which I would archive under the second lineset. As for the "parent x parent" part, it would include the name and link to their references, so the user will know their parents (as it may be harder to track down when they're grown and/or revamped). Their name would link to their most current reference. If there is more than one pup in a batch and there isn't a separate reference, I would include in parenthesis outside of the parsed URL of their placement. ie: (top right), etc. I would include the owner's current username and link to their profile (in the event that they change their username). I'm not going to include genders for the reason that the wolves can figure out what they identify as over time; I don't want to restrict that nor keep up with that. I would imagine that a pup might not know when they're born that they may be identifying themselves differently in the future.

Name owned by ___

I hope it's okay I apply, RIP.

username;; ~Apollo~
why?;; I'd honestly love to be apart of the RPW team in any way, and archiving is probably the only thing i would be good at rip. I think it would actually be pretty nice to do because I normally have a lot of free time on my hands and I would love to give back to this amazing community. I've also had experience archiving before as I updated the Chillabun archive for Soulfirewolf a while ago.
will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;;
I do. Archiving as I said is probably the one thing I can do properly. I am normally on fairly often and will constantly check back to the Nursery and see if there has been any new children as well as the artists nursery's on the old lines as some are using those instead of these.
give me an example of how you would organize it;;
I would actually just go with what I have done before when I organized an archive for a nursery.
It would essentially look like this,
I would list each batch with the names of each child and who owns them as well as the parents involved in the breeding
while this is just from my work with the chillabun archive i would so something in a similar fashion just without the talents as that does not apply to rainbow paint wolves
I would probably have 100 litters per post,

thank you for considering me it is greatly appreciated!!

      username;; rainbows.
      why?;; i would totally love to be more active in rpws as well as have a bit
      xmore experience when it comes to archiving!! plus it sounds fun :>
      will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;; of course! i have
      xbeen an archivist for other adoption centers before and i know how to
      xuse my time efficiently and update as much as possible !! currently, i
      xam an archivist for leafies; but the rest are currently dead owo
      give me an example of how you would organize it;; there are two ways
      xi feel it can be archived; one is by parents alphabetically (example below)
      parent1 x parent2
      xxx① child one, owner || child two, owner || child three, owner
      xxx② child one, owner || child two, owner || child three, owner

      xanother way can be by batch, numerically from the first to last :U
      1) parent1 x parent2 (current batch #; ex. 3rd batch for pairing)
      xxx① child one, owner
      xxx② child two, owner
      xxx③ child three, owner

    why?;;
      I have a knack for organization and would love to help with organizing the batches and helping track the number of times wolves breed and who those pups are. I know there's about four different nurseries and artist now are switching between the current one and the last three nurseries because of line preferences. The search bar can help greatly in finding which wolves have bred with which. I find it fun digging through the generations and would love the opportunity as a great way to spend my time doing when I have nothing to do on CS. I'm on almost all day other than in class and sleeping. I see it as a place where I would look to when I'm bored and being able to do this would fill that time.
    will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;;
      Yes I most certainly do promise that I will stick with my work. I'd love to help out and be a bigger part of the community. I know I've only been here for a little over a year, but I hope I can pay back my service ^u^

why?;; I really enjoy the task of archiving. I volunteered to archive stuff a few times a ways back, and I didn't do to well. The way I did it was just too complicated, and it didn't really look that good. However, now that time has gone by, I think I have a better grasp on what would go well. Plus, I've done some archiving work at Fritter Critters (on another site, and the species is owned by Lady Raincloud), which has also helped me understand archiving better. I'd like to feel more useful in the community, and I think archiving is a great way to do that. c: I also already just look at the nursery batches for the pure fun of looking at them, so now this would give me an excuse to go look at all of them. cx
will you promise to finish it and stick to the work?;; Yes! I will try to update at least once a week (although this month this will be hard to do), and if I don't manage that I will do a mass update at the end of the month.
give me an example of how you would organize it;; I would have two different sections to the archive, because I think it would help family wise. I know that this would be a bit more work, but I think it would be good to do. Of course, if it's preferred that I don't do that, I would just do the second part I have listed.

I don't intend on adding gender just because it can change as they grow and there's just so many factors to add into that and I think it would be simpler to just have the name, number, and owner.
