Yep, I'd rather not update them. I tried that with my last adoptables, and it was a pain since we get on at different times and it isn't the most up to date as possible.

Putting it across the pod isnt that bad of an idea. I would just make sure it doesn't cover any important markings ^_^

The way I would do it is slap a giant ADOPT ME in the middle over the whole picture, and reduce the opacity a little so that the design is noticeable.
