Okay so this is going to come out sort of mean but I honestly don't mean it to be??

I really think that lady raincloud and toothpick deserve to get slots at some point, they've both (especially lady) been trying to secure slots for some time now and it's not fair to them that they miss out like this. I understand that real life gets in the way, however,

it's likely that you'll open up slots in the future so maybe you could ask them both (if they still haven't gotten slots by then) if they'd still be interested in getting a breeding done by you before you open up slots publicly? I just want it to be fair for them since technically neither of them were at fault in any way.

I don't reserve slots in that manner, unfortunately. I understand getting slots is not easy, but my real life is far more important than pixels. Granted, I did believe that I would have two slots to open, but the weather and packing to move to a different dorm on my university's campus haven't given me much time or Internet.

They'll just have to try again. And for that, I'm sorry.

No matter your policy on reserving slots, it's still not either toothpick or lady rainclouds' faults that you weren't able to plan your time accordingly (again no offense but weren't you aware of the storm and the moving situation in advance or at least before last night?)/misread the situation (in toothpick's case), and you owe them slots because of this. I get that real life is more important than pixels, believe me I do (I'm personally chronically late doing some of my owed commissions because of my classes), but I still don't get why you "can't" just "reserve" them slots as a matter of courtesy.

toothpick's wasn't taken because it broke the rule I had regarding the slots until the situation was cleared up.
And no, the storm took a turn and we weren't expecting as much as we got. Living where I do, the weather plays into everything and we had to change plans for an entire day. Not to mention the wifi hasn't been working as the tower was frozen.
And because that's not fair to other players in the long run. There will be plenty of chances in the future, and I cannot see the point of arguing this any longer. I will not be taking either of their tickets this round, as I'm both too busy and have limited wifi access. It wouldn't be fair to take their slots and not have them done for a good month or so, given my university schedule this semester.
So please, drop the topic.

I realize I wasn't accepted this time, but, for future consideration, I would not mind waiting a month ( or even longer ) for a breeding to be done. I do not think others would either, as it is nicer to get a slot and have to wait for it and then not get one at all. c: And I understand taking a long time as well myself, as often I take a long time to finish runners ups, judge contests and finish nursery batches at other centers due to having to do other more important things.

There's never any hurry and you shouldn't feel it is unfair to the requester that you didn't finish their free art, no matter what it is, in time. It is rude to the artist if the requester, who is getting something free from them, pressures the artist excessively, as you ( the artist ) are doing it on your own time and getting nothing in return. c:

Hey guys, I'm sorry this situation caused some stress, but in the future please don't argue with our artists. They have lives outside of doing breedings, and they can't predict/control everything.
