My username is newsie, though I was
previously commie and some still call
me by that. I wish to adopt Pup 3, who
I would name Asenath. It's a pretty na-
me. Simple, but very pretty. Its origin
is Egyptian. It meaning is Daughter.
You might think that Daughter isn't
quite as special as some other of these
clever name meanings. But Daughter
makes sense with my character, beca-
use Asenath is THE daughter. In her
mind, at least. You see, she doesn't
quite consider her sister a daughter of
Mizuki and Jex. She's a twin, and
nothing more. And because she cannot
realize that her sister isn't just a twin,
she's driven herself mental. Hope you
enjoy my form, and grow to love the char-
acter I have created for Pup number 3...

Asenath has always felt so unimportant
compared to her siblings, particularly the
twins. She loves them both, but some-
times she just can't stand the special att-
ention they receive just because of each
other (which in her mind makes no sense
anyways). She loves her other brother, as
well, but she senses that he doesn't quite
understand her pain. And she knows that
they all love her, too. Sometimes it's just
hard to have to make an effort to stand
out, especially in front of her own parents.

Train's Drops of Jupiter, Asenath wrote:I feel an odd connection to this song. I guess I think of myself singing this song about my journey, trying to become an individual instead of just the sister of the twins, you know? Besides that, it's a beautiful song. One of the lyrics is Now that she's back in the atmosphere, I'm afraid that she might think of me as Plain Ol' Jane and I just love it because that's exactly how I imagine that others feel about me. I guess a theme song is really supposed to represent you, and Drops of Jupiter does just that.
Asenath wrote:I like being fussed over, which sounds awful, but what pup doesn't love attention? I don't ask for attention, of course, but I do love being praised. Now, sometimes I do try to show off, but that's only because I have to in order to remind the world that I still exist. Hmm... I also like Isket butterflies. I think they're very pretty, but that one time... I won't talk about that incident. (see Short Story 1 - Butterfly) I love the den tunnels. It's so fun to get lost in them and try to find your way out, like it's a maze. I love all of my family members, but I am especially fond of my father Jex. He's so brave and strong. And, let's see, of course I love Isket. Such a beautiful land...

Emotional, Easily Saddened (as seen in Short Story 1 - Butterfly)- Asenath is pretty emotional, and easily saddened, and the twins somehow trigger a mental meltdown for her. The twins aren't the only ones who make her upset, though. Asenath is just generally emotional. If you say something even remotely rude, hurtful, or upsetting, Asenath just breaks down. And she really doesn't get sarcasm.
Intelligent (as seen in Short Story 1 - Butterfly)- Asenath is actually quite intelligent. Her thoughts are very complex for a young pup, and she seems to have a decent understanding of what is going on in her land, such as with the battle mentioned in the story. She's quite good at piecing together information, therefore displaying intelligence even at her young age.
Immature (as seen in Short Story 1 - Butterfly)- Asenath is still a pup at heart. Whether it's chasing after butterflies or play-fighting with her parent's tail or simply rolling around with her siblings, Asenath does display the immaturity of a youngster.
Polite- Maybe Asenath likes rolling around and playing rough, but she's quite a polite little pup, especially in front of older Warriors. She has heard her siblings whine far too many times, and every time they do she just wants to go up and growl at them. She's quite intolerant of wining and excuses, and so of course she would not act up herself. Keeping herself civil and polite, she has learned, yields far more benefits.
Introverted- While she does love teasing and playing and having a good ol' loud time like any pup, Asenath is truly an introvert. It's not that she's shy (far from it), but she just doesn't feel the need to say everything she thinks. But she will respond to your questions and have a good conversation, as long as you're good at keeping a conversation going.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Asenath quickly opened her eyes, still wide awake despite the blackness of the sky outside of the cave. It must have been the middle of the night, but she always had a hard time falling asleep. There were no sounds in the den; everyone was completely asleep. Her eyes quickly adjusting to the shadows of the den, she scanned over the sleeping bodies of her siblings, and then her parents, who were a thousand times larger than them. Still lying down herself, she spotted the twins curled up against her mother's side and sighed sadly. She shed a single tear, but quickly brushed it away with her long, pluming tail. Too many tears had been shed already. The Kronadors had attacked the camp earlier that day, their teeth and claws plunging fear into the mix of emotions swirling inside the pack. The Warriors had an emergency plan that was immediately taken into effect, and the pups had all been ushered deep inside the den-tunnels. No lives had been lost in the end, but several were badly wounded and the Shaman's den was overflowing.
To distract her from the attack and the twins, Asenath decided to go for a quick stroll and get a breath of fresh air. She pulled herself up on aching paws. Maybe she wasn't tired, but her body sure was. As she clambered out of the den and met the cool breeze waiting for her outside, she smiled for the first time in a while. With the wind against her pelt giving her a new sense of freedom, she began to run. There was no purpose, no direction to her joy. She just ran. She chased her shadow around the field of blue grass, digging into the ground with her claws, dodging between outcrops of red rock. She paused for a moment to sigh contently. Finally she was unconstrained, unleashed, and she was going to make every second of it count. Lazily she flopped onto her back and stared up into the velvet-black sky and smiled.
Suddenly a butterfly landed gently on the tip of her nose. Asenath held very still as not to disturb it, but went cross-eyed as she tried to look at the butterfly, which cast a faint white glow over the grass around her. Excitement washing over her, she pulled her lips back in a threatening but joyful grin. Between the cross-eyes and the smile, she looked like a madman. She knew it too, but she didn't care. She was having the time of her life. And now, either underestimating the speed of the butterfly or not caring, she sprung up from the ground and began to race after the small white creature. She felt the dewy indigo grass part beneath her paws, the wind lashing her face and stinging her eyes. This was freedom. But then, as if it were mocking her foolishness, the butterfly landed on her nose for another instant before taking off straight up in the sky. Asenath just sat there, utterly defeated. She was disturbed by a deep and hearty chuckle. She spun around to meet the eyes of her father, Jex. He could barely say anything behind his laughter, but Asenath scowled as he sputtered it out.
"Outsmarted by a butterfly!"

Asenath’s beautiful, strong blue eyes flashed open, their oceanic pigment reflecting the gentle waves of an early morning’s sun. The entire land of Isket seemed to be soaking up the cascading warmth; the rolling azure glasses illuminated with gold. Asenath could feel it in her thick furred coat, too, as it was tickled by a warm breeze. She bathed in the heat, as did the world around here; all too often we forget to pause and savor such moments. In a wink after waking, before realization hit, Asenath had such a moment; a moment where she felt completely in tune with the world. But as it was just a moment, it ended as soon as it had started, and as it passed Asenath doubted whether or not she had experienced it at all. Taking a deep breath before releasing a trapped sigh, she flexed and unflexed her claws, letting them sink into the earth beneath her.
As her parents and siblings were far away, near the den, most likely enjoying the sunshine as they lay basked on red stone, Asenath decided to go for a walk alone. Between the weather and the various Warriors patrolling and playing around the territory, she was not phased by the prospect of danger; far aware of it, but not really thinking about it. Instead she marched fearlessly into the forest, with only herself for company, leaving her mind to wander. It's a good day, huh? she asked herself as she reached the first row of tall forest trees. She sighed once more and looked back upon the stretch of grass that she had come across, and the rocky red dens in the background. Then she turned around once more.
The forest. It was known to be dangerous and perilous, but heck, she had been in more times than she could count. Only with older Warriors by her side, of course, but why should it make a difference? They had never been in any real trouble. And so, with one last brave step, Asenath entered the forest. Nearly immediately, she saw a flash of slimy green and stood still, shivering. It must just be my imagination. It has to be, she thought. Forcing herself to take another step forward, she heard a voice hiss in her ear. "Yessss, young pup, you'll be deliciousssss." Asenath jumped and froze, and somehow ended up facing a huge, intimidating...
"Kronador!" she choked out. Suddenly the feeling in her legs was returned, and she fled. It was no use. No matter how hard her paws pounded against the ground, the Kronador caught up easily. For a long while it teased her, frightening her to the point of screaming out loud. Then finally he pinned her down. No matter how desperately she squirmed and kicked, she could not regain control. I should have never been so stupid. I should have never gone into the woods. she thought. The Kronador leaned in and hissed once more in her ear. "Give up, sssstupid pup. All you are now is my ssssssupper."
Suddenly Asenath heard a growl. Not a Kronador growl, either, but a Warrior growl. She sobbed with relief as her father, Jex, tackled the Kronador from behind. He leaped onto its back; the Kronador tried to shake him off, but he dug his claws into the slick skin of the beast, then slashed at its neck until it buckled to the ground. It now fought back feebly and hissed at him ferociously, but Jex was not daunted. Between his rage and the advantage of surprise, he tackled the Kronador, and when at last it was dead he ran to his daughter.
The father and daughter just stared at a while, but then Asenath melted and began to cry. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I know you're probably mad and I promise I'll never go in there again, I just wasn't thinking and I'm sorry, I really am." She expected her father to scream at her, or perhaps to give her a stern warning, but she was so surprised at what he did say that she stopped her bawling.
"It's okay, Asenath. Promise me you'll never go back in there again."
Asenath sniffled. "Of course...
Never."________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I really need some help with this, which I am hoping you would give me.

I have been extremely active on Chicken Smoothie since I joined in January 2011, the most time ever spent off the website at once totaling around a week. I try to log on every day, and most days I do accomplish this. On average I spend at least 2 hours a day on CS, and another hour with Chicken Smoothie open in another tab. If I won this pup these rates would only increase as I fussed over my Asenath. I would create a thread dedicated to her, full of art and short stories of her many great adventures. I would put her in my signature as well as a link to the main thread, and join the role play and also be extremely active on that. I would color in all the WOI lines for my beautiful girl, and create some of my own gift lines. I would order and create more art, write tons more about her, and just love her to pieces. You said that you wanted the future owners of this pup to be very active with them, and I completely understand that. The WOI are such a special species, they need some extra care.
I'm extremely picky when it comes to design, ask anyone. The tiniest marking or color can ruin the design in my eyes. I love these WOIs, and have been crazed about them for months, but have barely tried out for any, especially lately, as my standards have been raised even higher. Besides that, we can only own one warrior. That's why I was so hesitant to even look at this litter, I wanted to know I was making the right choice. But after building some courage and looking at the first two pups, I was drooling over this litter. All four of these pups are incredibly gorgeous and beautiful. But then I clicked on 3, and my heart melted. There was just a look in her pixel-ed eye that made me want her so badly. Once I thought about a personality and history and theme and story, things just fell into place. There was no way I was ever going to apply for another pup. This one, or so I believe and do hope, is mine. <3
The Warriors live in a land called Isket, which has blue grass, red rock, and white waters. They live in a network of room and tunnel systems in the mountains, which allows them to spot their main enemy, the chimera Kronadors, from far away. They are at war with these creatures, who are half horse and half lizard, not too smart but extremely vicious. One adult, experienced warrior can take down a Kronador, who use their horns, teeth, and claws to battle their opponents. The leader, however, has never been killed and probably never will be. He is stronger than any Warrior or Kronador, and he has taken many lives. A pack of Warriors consists of Ultimate Alphas, Alphas, Pups, Trainees, several different Egyptian-named patrols, hunters, etc.
Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity. I wish all the best luck to my competitors, and I know that no matter what happens, all four of these pups will go to the best homes possible. <3________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
