Hey everyone,

This announcement is to let everyone know that the adoption center (this thread) is closed for the time being. The nursery (located here), however, will remain open so that owners of Pseudodragons can still have their Pseudos bred and non-owners can get babies.

This means that, for now, no more Pseudodragons will be released for adoption on this thread. However, the nursery will continue running as it would normally. The adoption center may come back some day, but for now it remains closed.

I'm very sorry for not giving any updates for such a long time, life has been super busy in the past months and I have not had much time to dedicate to CS. If anyone has any questions, feel free to either post here, or shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you ASAP. Thank you to everyone who's been a part of Pseudos over the years, it's been awesome. ♥

Any chance if you decide to discontinue this thread yourself, that you might pass it on to another user? These guys are too stinkin' cute and i've been watching for such a long time, I hate to see them go completely! especially before I got one...

Or maybe, sometime in the future, make them an 'open species' so that folks can color in their own? I've seen that a few times...

now that Psuedos are closed, I was just thinking, and I got to wondering if this means slots will be lifted? I don't expect that they will be - I'm just curious ;v;

I have a question as well-

Me and another were told we would be getting runner ups over a year ago, yet we have still to receive them and we both have messaged the artist more than once. Since psuedos are closed, does that mean we won't ever receive the runner ups?

Thank you very much for the suggestions, but Pseudodragons will not be passed on to another person. I still value them very much and hope to bring this adoption center back someday when I have the time. You will still be able to get babies from the nursery, from gifts or from babies put up for adoption, however, so don't lose hope on getting one! ^^

I've added you to the color-in center. You're welcome to color your Pseudo in on the newer lines there, or I can add someone else as well so they can color them in for you. ^u^

Hmm, I haven't really thought about this yet, ahh. For now the slot limit will remain at 10, although that may change in the future.

Pseudodragons are coming back! You may have already seen the group, but we are now located on DeviantArt!

What this means is that no new adoptables or babies will be released on Chickensmoothie anymore; all new Pseudodragons and events will be hosted on our DeviantArt group.

For a little while, until everything is settled down and ready, no new staff will be hired. However, if any of the current official artists would like to be a part of the artist team over on DA, let me know via note over on DA. In addition, if any of the current moderators would like to join the team, they are welcome to join as a mod as well! Though, of course, it's completely optional and I completely understand if anyone would not like to continue as a staff member.

We are offering free line transfers as well! If you would like to transfer your Pseudodragon(s) onto the new lines, send me a note over on DeviantArt and I'll give you a copy of the official lines to color in. <3 Colored in Pseudodragons and old reference sheets go in our "Old Pseudos" folder.

In addition, the first Pseudodragon on the new group has been released. It's a free raffle, and anyone is welcome to enter! c:
