Woops, I went back and saw these are stopping. It is saddening to hear that, and I heard from others what you are referring to a while back. I too am quite appalled by such actions of others, and I understand your reasoning. I also think you should put your morals first, and its disheartening to see people take something so innocent and turn it into something a little corrupt, at least for a while. What they did was not right, and I'm sorry to see these guys disappear to the public but again I understand and respect your decision. Good luck with your life and such things, I had really hoped to have one of my own of these but it is probably in best interest to make them a reserved/vip species. (: Your ideas and art are always wonderful, keep being amazing. <3

NOTICE!

There was something that sort of shocked me today and made me question whether or not I should discontinue Wishflies. I've come to a conclusion now, I've decided that I will no longer be making these for the public. It's come to my attention that I really can't trust people not to take something completely innocent and turn it into something perverted. I can't continue to offer Wishflies to the public with the knowledge in mind that they may be used to engage in things that are morally wrong and deeply unsettling.

I'm sorry, I know I had a lot of plans for these, but I try to put my morals and beliefs above anything else. From now on this will be a private species available to myself, relatives and trustworthy individuals only.

On top of the moral dilemma, I'm getting to be a little too old, in my opinion, to be sitting idle working on pixels all day . I really need to start thinking of my future and Wishflies are just one of many unnecessary things that are holding me back from moving forward in life.

Please note that I will go on with judging the two Wishflies still available (#8 and #5).

New update on the front page. I'm going to quote it here as well, so please read it before posting.

Wishfly Adoptions are currently on a hiatus for a number of personal reasons. That means no adoptions. Also I'd like to stress that I'm not looking for artists or helpers - if in the future these happen open again and I need help, I already have a mental list of people who I will go to specifically and ask. If they don't work out, then I will make a notice saying that I'm looking for help. Otherwise, refrain from asking, as this only makes me feel as though you haven't even read through the rules and therefore don't care about the species enough to be an artist ;). Also note that I will never give up my species, so please don't ask to take over.
