hey all - been a little bit, but got some updates!

finally got the site up and running, all that is left is now fine tuning and adding images. the idea is to have the site automate claims/prompt and provide an official masterlist, because on cs it can be awfully difficult to update information if the original artist or owner is not available.

there are some nice and neat functions on the site that I think you all will enjoy. that being said, I am going start a small beta tester program. beta testers will at the very least:

- be given an early access invite code
- receive a custom to use throughout the site, one they will keep
- receive a beta tester badge, and potentially a beta tester title

as a beta tester you would be added to a private discord while we work out all of the issues with the site. since the amount of people will vary, the additional rewards are something to be discussed once everyone is together. the responsibilities of being a beta tester for us would mean filling out bug reports when you find something wrong, letting us know if you think something is formatted weird, etc. this is mainly for 1) us to figure out what breaks and 2) for us to get feedback.

if you are interested, post on this thread (I have not had time to clear out my inbox since I left) just stating you would like to be a beta tester / get more information. one of us will reach out to you with more details and how to get in the program. you are not required to be available all the time, or 24/7, just have enough time to give us feedback every now and then.

the schedule will be:
end of sunday, 7th, last time to opt into being a beta tester
end of saturday, 13th, wrap up testing for main site

the hope is that by the time beta testing ends, baltic reindeer will be paired with baltic huskies (owned by honeybunchesofoats + arkinhallow) and this site, alongside it's forum (which is still currently being made since that is not much of a priority). since baltic reindeer are a clean slate, the hope is that by the time I have everything done here that baltic huskies will be ready to open again.

just to clarify: these guys will still be on chickensmoothie. adoptions/oekaki/etc will all still be here, this is so that users have more freedom with what they can do while making it easier on the admins for prompts and masterlists.

hello hello again all - the admins figured it would be better to simply have everyone have access to the form without needing to be pmed, so if you had been interested in being a tester, read below:

we appreciate you being willing to work with us! as we mentioned, beta testing is not anything really crazy or time consuming. essentially, we want a couple people to be able to use the site that are willing to put up with a few bugs, occasional server downtime, etc. putting the site up completely to the public might frustrate everyone when we are still trying to make everything completely functional, so we want some people who are interested in using the site but are willing to stick through some issues.

this is just to gauge who is signing up, as we want to avoid only one type of browser/computer/phone/etc testing the site. this way we can see how the site functions for regular windows users, regular phone users, etc. only fill out what you are comfortable with! : ) if you decide you are uncomfortable filling out the google form, you can reach out to honeybunchesofoats as they can give you the site information.

on the form is a section for additional questions, who to contact, etc. let us know if you have any questions, but all the info should be in the form desc and at the end of submission! : )

hope you all have had a great weekend - small update!
going to extend beta tester forms until monday, so if you are interested feel welcome to still fill out a form! we have a team of about 10 people including those on and off discord, so we have a good group already, just figured there might be individuals not free on the weekend that might have a type of device we do not have yet.

that being said, I sent pms on cs to all the individuals who were accepted into this current round! if you submitted your form before I started sending messages at 4pm, it is likely that the type of device you had was already included by a majority. if you submitted your form afterwards or are planning on submitting it, no worries! you will still be looked at, I simply just wrote down the names approved as of 4pm EST (about an hour ago). if you think you should have been accepted but did not get a pm, let me know and I'll take a look at my notes of applications!

as always, if you have a preference to not fill out a google form, you are definitely welcome to contact me. my pms should be good now and I know honeybunchesofoats is open as well, so we are here if you need anything! : )
