Man oh man, Valentines! Most people don't care for today, and when they do, it's never a favorite. PopRocks likes the aesthetics, even if that seems a bit conceited. They'll spend the day eating sweets, writing cards, and getting ready for the party.
Every Valentine's, PopRocks will host a party for those who have little else to do for the day, with input from guests beforehand. Will this year's party be a game night, movie night, or stay up late and gossip night? Always depends on the crowd! Be there or be square <3

"Oh, hey! Before you leave. Here!" A coworker passes an envelope to you as you leave your shift. Lucky you were a few minutes late to leave, they had just walked in. You wait to get home to take a look. You've no idea what this could be. It's probably one of those advertising at home parties. The envelope is simple, has your name on it, and a fancy wax seal stamp. It seems a little excessive, but it's nice. Inside is a card with elegant gold lettering, which reads:
"Valentine's Party,
You're Invited!"
There's a time and address listed; it looks like you can make it after work that day. Sure, why not?
When you get there, it's already busy. It's a bigger party than you were expecting. Still, you decide to give it a chance. It's been a long time since you've been out, and you've never been to a party before. Besides, you can always leave.
When the door opens you're surrounded by excited, lively conversation and laughter. What seems to be the host greets you.
"Hey there! You must be __! Your friend told me about you, said you need to get out more. Follow me!" Their nametag reads "PopRocks." A nickname? You trail hesitantly after the bright pink coat and wonder if it was dyed for the event. It's not long before you're led to a quieter room with a small group of people around a table. They're playing a board game. PopRocks interrupts your observations with that bubbly personality of theirs. It's delightful; you find yourself smiling back at them.
"I thought you might like something quieter, and I certainly would, too. This year's party is very busy and loud, not what I was expecting at all," PopRocks sits at the table, and gestures for you to do the same. You take a seat next to them, being the only person you're now familiar with. The guests at the table are welcoming and excited to have two more players join them. This was a good idea, even if you'll be exhausted the next morning at work. Still, you can't wait to tell your coworker about tonight, and thank them for the invitation.
