Reasons for Choice wrote:She grew up in Galen's 'rebel' camp,

She is still a very young cub and very impressionable.
Still- knowing what war and death is like,
she would love to see a time when that is not happening
and the warriors are allowed to settle down
without fear of leaving their families to fight a war.

Air Vortex - By harnessing the power of wind, Tuuli can suck all the air out of an area,
rendering whomever is inside the vortex breathless or even suffocating.
Gust - With a strong pull on her element, Tuuli summons a gust to throw her enemies.
[Defensive]
Barrier - When frightened or angry, Tuulis electric element serves as an electric field,
Shocking anyone who touches her.
[*Refined] Under the influence of a thunder element, Tuuli's electricity will become
more stable. In this form, she can wield the element better and have
more power than without the influence.

[In Full]
Compassionate>>feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others.
Tuuli upon coming out of the lake is a bit of a timid baby, once she grows to know about where she is and who is around her, she becomes a bright cheery cub that is kind to most everyone and will go out on a limb to help any she can.
Playful>>fond of games and amusement; lighthearted
While she may be from 3000 years in the past, she is still a very young cub when first joining the pride. With that, she's not entirely matured and loves to go play with other cubs. Wrestling, puzzles, elemental games, anything.
Outgoing>> friendly and socially confident
Tuuli is the ultimate people person. She loves to meet knew lions, getting to know their likes and dislikes, their past, future aspirations.
Adventurous>> willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences.
Tuuli enjoys exploring the prides lands, searching for new things to learn of or experience. She isn't always the big risk taker, but there are just somethings in life that need to be seen and done.
Determined>> having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.
Tuuli is known for being quite determined. When she makes her mind up on something it can be hard to convince top get to give up. While her goals may not always be things like rising in rank or fighting the enemy, she will hold tight to what she believes and wants to do.
Patient>> able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
Tuuli is a chill young cat. She is in no real rush to do much of anything- epically grow up. While she understands the benefits of growing, she believes she needs to learn more about herself and her elements before ealing that leap. Until then she patiently waits on her self growth. With others n tots patience will extend as well.
Honest>> free of deceit and untruthfulness; sincere
The day that Tuuli lies will be the day that the Lake of eternity freezes over. The young cub was taught by her parents to be honest and kind to all, that the quality of your personality will outshine the dark days you may face, and while Tuuli doesn't remember it she still has the moral code that her parents ingrained in her.

History wrote:
In Hushed WhispersHer heart pounced in her chest. Behind her her father quivered, her mother stood protectively over her, staring daggers into the Lions that had trapped them then corralled them to the lake.
For the last few days they had been under the protection of the old pride, though as members of Galen's pride, this meant nothing but bad news. Her parents had whispered plan after plan before finally realizing escape wasn't an option. That was when they began whispering their love to her. It became an daily thing during their time under the prides 'protection'.
"Auleie, never forget we love you. "
"We're so proud of you, you were so brave."
"Baby don't cry.. we will make it through, you're doing so good, don't give up."
When the fateful day came. They whispered their sorrows.
"Our fault..." "Galen's not coming..." "This is /wrong/"
Terror flooded her veins. In her 25 years of life, she had never considered her death. Her parents were strong, faithful to their family, loyal to the good and kind. Never had something like this occurred to her, never should it have had to.
Her mother stood rigid as a loud voice boomed across the area.
""Swim across the lakes waters, and we will set you free."" His voice was powerful, but it sent shivers down her spine, with a glance up, she saw her mother shaking her head slowly, the words repeating in a hushed whisper.
"...swim... free.." Like she was trying to solve a puzzle, as though something wasn't adding up.
Around them lions seemed to be surging forward, pushing the crowd of hurt soldiers and nomads back. Pride lions growled and snapped, one particular dark lioness surged forward slapping at a few of the more brave lions. Everyone seemed hesitant of trusting the leaders voice.
/Be brave!/ she thought, The terror griping her heart settling for a moment as she twisted to look over the water.
It seemed... safe? But no one dare touch it yet, scared of what it may hold.
/Be brave!/
She pulled in a quick breath and turned on heel, fleeing under her families paws and taking a leap over the waters. She pulled on her element, a gust of wind propelling her further until...
Her scream filled the air, her parents looked on in horror as she wreathed in the water, shrieking and clawing for something to climb out on.
Unsuccessfully, her panic rose as she sunk lower. All around screams filled the air as other lions were pushed in.
On the shore line, the pride lions held a mixed view. Some proud of their actions, heads held high as they strutted away, others guilt crept up their spine and made them shiver as the screams slowly diminished as bodies sunk down into the lakes depths.
Of the Silent NightHer vision came to her first. Blue eyes wide open staring up at the sky, the blues and pinks she was used to were dark blacks and blues with swirling angry clouds that crackled and produced lightning.
Next was her hearing. The thunderous booms of sound scared her, but her body refused to move. She could tell by the sounds rustling past her ears and the changing scenes in her vision that she was being moved. It took her truly focusing to hear their gruff voices snarling about work and the pride.
Her heart stilled at the word, but she couldn't grasp why. Terror and confusion were bubbling at her stiff body as feeling flooded back to her.
Wet. Cold. Sore. The ground rough against her water logged fur. Her shoulders felt heavy and hurt when she moved them. She could see flashes of blue in her vision if she turned her head a tiny bit.
As she tested her movement, she suddenly felt her body stop, her tail dropped from the maw of one of the Lions and her heart pounded at the realization.
/oh gods they were taking her./
When she turned her head, two large lions leaned over her, their eyes looked angry. She trembled under their sights, unable to focus on anything but fear as they tried speaking to her.
Behind them the thunder clapped, and not 3 seconds later a flash of lightning struck the ground. The Lions before her jumped, a flash of fear in their eyes.
While the lightning may have scared them, it turned a switch for her. Her blood lit with determination. Words swirling in her mind seemed to echo back to a single phrase. "Be brave." She met one of their eyes with a new hope.
As if on cue, lightning struck once more, parallel to the electricity that erupted from her body following a dark marking along her side. It started at her eyes, blur glowing and sparking before lighting down the mark.
"You will not have me." She whispered.
The Lions seemed taken a back, but there seemed only to be a moment of hesitation. Her hope stuttering as the Lions looked at her and lunged, one slamming into her side as the other tried to circle around. She tried to withstand the attack, her body crackling as the electricity curled around her pelt, shocking the Lions each time they touched her.
But this seemed to only anger them more. She tried fleeing, but the Lions followed closely, paws trying to pin her.
It was without a sound that the lion appeared, he soared over her with a strong leap, landing clean on on of her pursuers. He was a massive lion, thick long white fur under his armor, a large rack of horns towering from her head.
For a moment, her heart soared, this could mean freedom! But something in her still was cautious, leading her to flee to hide behind a stony out cropping.
It seemed forever before the snarling stopped and the tank found her. She starred at him wordlessly as he starred down at her. Finally he sat down, stretching his long limbs out towards her.
"I am sorry if I scared you. I couldn't in my right mind see a sister of the lake be taken by those monsters. I am Ecko."
She starred as he spoke, unsure of this new lion. But he was her savior, and he seemed kind. Something in her felt at peace with the lion before her. As she introduced himself, she gave a small nod, scooting out of the rocky patch to sit near him.
He seemed amused by her silent ways, but none the less, he was patient with her. After a moment of her settling beside him, he asked her name.
In that moment, she realized she knew nothing of who, or where she was.
A Quiet DawnEcko, it turned out, had a small family. He was of the lake himself- the first of their kind to walk out of the deal waters- but not that last. Still, despite the hardships of being different he had found a mate and a place in the pride.
She, it turned out, was also from the lake. There were a number of them that had been found. The reports said they were spit from the lake as the waters raged with the storms.
No one quite knows why, but it's unsettling for sure. Many of them don't seem to take kindly to the lake lions- but it makes their kinsmen ship stronger.
From the lake, she had quickly met Phycodurus, another of the cubs spit from the lake, as well as Xochipili. She also was quick to realize that the lake had changed them all quite drastically, giving fish like qualities to each of them.
To her, it was easy to look at it with an air of unattatchment. Few of the lake cubs remembered their pasts, and she took that as sign that it best to leave it. Seemingly they had been blessed with new lives and they were fit to live them, fishy or not.
With this, she allowed herself to give up any memories she had. A new life, beginning with a new name given by Ecko; Tuuli.
-
Despite her conscious decision to give up on the past, her nightmares plagued her with flashes of incoherent memories, days with glowing figures she assumed to be her parents, screams of terror as she presumably died, a loud booming voice of an alpha long dead.
Each morning she'd wake with a start, and incidentally wake her adoptive sister as well. Due to Phys long kelpie stems that grew from her pelt, Tuuli's rude awakenings would rouse Phyocodurus as well. However, rather than growing annoyed with it, it allowed the two girls to grow closer.
-
Eventually time took its toll and she no longer was bothered by them. .
That was when Tuuli opened up. Her mornings were spent playing with other Cubs, occasionally finding herself in the lessons that the educators lead, learning new things.
Her control over her elements were unpredictable- wild. The air would dance around her moments only to disperse and leave them breathless.
Her electricity was even more wild, it crackling across her form each time she tried calling on it. She could use it defensively, but anything more was a challenge.
Even still, life in the pride is kind to Tuuli. She enjoys her time as a cub, an opportunity she didn't have in the past. She spends most her time loitering around the training grounds, participating in various regimes, listening to stories, and practicing her elements. When shes not at the training grounds, she could be found exploring the pride lands. Strangely, the one place Tuuli is deadly terrified of is the lake of eternity itself. The shadows of the night had long ago fallen and most of the pride had fallen into sleep or their dens to enjoy down time. Tuuli however, had a different idea. It wasnt long since she had joined the pride officially. Ecko and Aylin had tried their hardest to catch she and Phy up on what life was like, explaining the pride and its various ranks and roles. Still, it hadn't truly sunk in- she didn't know enough of the area!
The young cub had wandered to and fro various areas of the prides great mountain- checking out where the trainings were to be held, exploring the den caverns, playing in the forge with several of the forgers while they showed off skills, she even had scoped out the healers den. It was amazing to the young cub, nothing like she'd ever seen before.... At least.. she thinks so? Memory wasn't her strong suit when it came to the past. But the lions here were so friendly, each pointing out a new location for the inspect or leading her to them themselves.
The last one had dropped her off near the Lake of Eternities shores, the water lapped calmly, a small sway in its waves as it moved. She couldn't help but to be entranced by the movements. She watched it for what seemed like ages, settled quietly by the shore, watching as the skies lights faded into the darker colors of the night and the stars glimmered off the waters sea front. It was then it caught her eye.
Hauntingly, she stepped away from the waters edge, her mind troubled and eyes wide in terror. She didn't mean to bump into him, she hadn't even known he was there, but the rough feeling of the coral from Xochis pelt brushed against a fin and suddenly it was like she was back from another time.
She drew in a ragged breath, starring at him.
"Are you okay?" He whispered, sincerity dripping from his tone as he watched her.
"I-i.. I thought I saw myself in it. That cant be right though! Right?" Her words were fast, stumbling over herself as she tried to elaborate on what she saw. The image was still fresh in her mind- a ghostly pale version of herself shined on the surface of the lake, shimmering with the stars as it starred back at her. She tried to explain it to Xochi, but instead got a sympathetic look and whisked away from the lake.
Relationships wrote:[Domanatus] - Owned by me c:Dom is one of the many cubs that Tuuli comes across in her many years of hanging around the training grounds and enjoying life as a cub. However, one thing had always made him stick out- His element of thunder drew Tuulis electricity in and worked as a sort of hold on her own element, making it more stable and easier to control. Though this was not the only reason the two lions clicked quite easily. Doms quiet personality and Tuulis gentle and positivity worked hand in hand to make them fast friends.
[Phyocodurus] - Owned by WillowKistPhy is one of Tuulis adoptive sisters from those that Ecko took in, as well as a fellow lion from the lake. Tuuli took a while to warm up to the kelpie lioness, but eventually grew quite close with her. Their midnight talks using one another as confidants only allowed the two lioness' to grow closer. When Phy grew with the aid of the alpha sands, Tuuli felt a small distance between them caused by her belief that Phy intended to grow for Khuza. However this didn't stop her from being happy for her friend and trying her best to be friendly towards Khuza and their cubs.
[Ecko & Aylin]Owned by Starry-knightEcko was the first of the pride lions that Tuuli met, and luckily so. She is forever thankful that Ecko not only saved her from the rebels but also took her in. Tuuli has grown to adore the pair of lions, as well as their biological cubs. While she hadnt grown as close to the cubs as she may have liked, Tuuli has remained close to the pair that took her in.
[Xochipili ] - Owned by WillowKistBeing two of the forever cubs that have decided to remain cubs, Xochi and Tuuli are quite the close buds. They first met the night that the lake cubs had all gathered, but hadn't really gotten to know one another until the night he found her at the lake. However, they have since grown closer and can often be seen napping together between training or adventuring.
