Your pet Cyx won't require oxygen or food - As they live off of batteries!
Cyx are programmed to act like real creatures and some are even released into the wild to aid in the preservation of endangered species.
Releasing Cyx has improved wildlife conservation efforts and allowed us to document endangered species.
Overall, having a Cyx means nothing less than many many hours of fun!

By adopting and participating in the community you agree to follow all the rules for Cyx and all Chickensmoothie rules.

Cyx is a closed community, we hold no rights to robotic creatures and you are free to create your own but if you would like to participate in our community with your bots they must be archived and follow our guidelines! Cyx lines are also reserved only for community bots! ty <3

:Rules:

Cyx cannot be based on copyrighted characters/ideas, if this is found to happen your Cyx will be blacked out in the archives making them unable to participate and mods will take action as needed.
Artist terms of service or TOS will be posted under individual adopts, by adopting Cyx with the listed TOS you are agreeing to follow those rules as if they were official Cyx rules.
Cyx can be transferred in and out of the species as desired as long as it is archived and previous transfers are listed
Cyx may be gifted/sold/traded for any currency at any time unless stated otherwise by an artist's TOS.
If an artist blocks you, you are blocked from obtaining any more of their designs through any means, you may keep any current designs you own by that artist and sell/trade/gift them as normal.
Cyx items will not be tracked by staff, this is up to the user owning those items to track them.
You are not limited to the amount of Cyx you can own and are free to adopt as many as you desire.
Cyx baby bots can be transferred at any time but will have a 2-week cooldown before they can participate in the nursery along with the parents of the baby bot.

:Staff Rules:

Staff have no monthly adoption minimum or maximum
Discord is used to communicate to staff, all staff are required to have it and abide by any rules Discord has. Including their age limitations.
Cyx are not required to have a reference sheet
Artists must have done a minimum of 2 free adopts in order to do paid adopts, this resets monthly and there are no limitations to paid adopts.
Unjudged competitions may be judged by a mod 1 month after the competition's end date should they become aware of it.
Milestone adopts are permitted to use up to 4 rare traits but are not required to.
Milestone adopts must be discussed with a mod before creation
Artists can give out runner up rewards as they see fit these rewards may include general store items, and Cyx. Event traits and items cannot be used outside of their respective events.
Runner-up Cyx will be archived under MYOs and artists will need to post in the discord log
Any staff can open nursery slots, nursery rules will need to be followed as posted on the nursery page.
