Mothers & Father’s Day event suggestion

I think it would be awesome to have a mothers and Father’s Day mini event on cs,
Even just an item set for each holiday would be so lovely! Especially for all the mothers and fathers who might play cs.

I think it would be cute to get a Mother’s Day and Father’s Day teddy bear that match up when put together, even though they’d be from separate dates

i support, sounds so cute. making pets for the "smaller" or lesser known holidays would be cool. I think there might be a setback though because these smaller holidays are on different days depending on the country

I think possibly having there be an adopt set of items / pets for a few days during an event that could be on different days

Maybe even like a "Parent's day". There's a Parent's Day in South Korea on May 8th, the US celebrates it on the fourth Sunday in July, and the United Nations proclaimed June 1 to be the Global Day of Parents (all from wikipedia).

I would absolutely love to see Parent's Day as an event (unsure on Mother's/Father's Day after reasons posted below, plus CS pets don't really have a specified sex/gender anyway), especially as it is an underrated celebration and it also falls in the quieter, event-less months of CS. It wouldn’t have to be a major event, it could even be a one off, a couple of pets would do to acknowledge the celebration!

Would only support the idea of a parent's day. There are a lot of holidays I don't like the idea of, an exclusive father's/mother's day being included. There's the problem of date differences and the fact of it being a difficult "holiday" for many, already mentioned, as well as the heteronormative restrictions. If you don't think the holidays are heteronormative you need to take a step back and consider why these holidays exist as a standard, and recognise that no, the world does not celebrate these in an inclusive way. Take one look at a google search of "mothers day gifts" and "fathers day gifts".

I do like the idea of a parent's day without mentions of gender, the baby/parent pet idea is especially cute.
