CS Needs Another Archivist

Personally I think that it needs to just be automated. It seems very strange for it to be a manual thing instead of it being coded to where all the archive information is there and present when the pets are intially added to the site and the pet automatically shows up in its proper category/archive spot once it grows enough.

I believe the only reason why it's not automated is because the admin team has said that they're afraid it may glitch. I'm not really sure, I would have to find the post where they've denied this.

I like this suggestion, though!

in the light of the rose dragon chaos on the swap thread right now, i'm adding my support for this 100%. it would be so much better if we could have more hands in the archive department imo, as even though we cannot make automatic, the least we could do is hire at least one or two more people to give their help. everyone is scrambling for outcomes and i've noticed it can take an hour or more to have the archives be updated after rollover- which in retrospect isn't too bad, but when everyone is scrambling during events to swap their outcomes right after rollover it can cause pure chaos.

context: someone put some roses on their dragon, and because of the archive not being updated, it was assumed that it was an outcome for tonight. multiple people have since asked for it in the swap thread.... awkward.

Support for a second archivist!

Most of the time I would say it's fine if we wait for the archive to update, it's just monthly pets. No biggie. But then you have events when there are more users than usual vying at rollover to get their swap trades in.

We have not once, but twice, had false images of pets circulating in the advent swap thread that are not seperate outcomes. If users could wishlist grown pets in the archive, these issues would rarely, if ever, happen.

I understand one person can't be updating the archive five minutes after rollover, especially during the holiday season, that is why I am requesting more archivists be added on

Admins and Admin Assistants are also able to edit the archive if Solloby isn't around, so it's not just on one person. If I've noticed it's been a long wait or there's a misunderstanding I try to update the archive myself when I can. If something like a false outcome circulating happens again, please feel free to send a ticket or even PM me so it can get updated to solve the confusion.
