"Hi there!" The sima greets you with a large grin.

"I'm Nefeli! And these are my friends! We're here to take care of the orphans and make sure they get wonderful homes! But, we're also here to make some friends and memories ourselves!" Nefeli explained.

"Would... you like to be my friend? May... maybe friends with my other friends too?! Let me introduce you!" Nefeli excitedly asked jumping up and down in excitement. Before you can even answer she drags you over to the other four and introduces them you to them.

❤️ -- Valentines MYO Nursery Rules -- ❤️

- All main event thread rules apply.

- Forms for rolls may be posted from Feb 1st to Feb 28th, MYO nursery kits may be finished from Feb 1st to March 16th.
> Be sure to finish making your kits by March 16th! All and any rolls will be considered invalid afterwards and no more kits will be approved.

- No covers! If you have multiple kits for your batch, you may fit multiple on one canvas or post them separately as part 1, part 2, etc.
> Please make sure staff can see the entire kit for approval.

- Items may not be used for this MYO nursery. This includes both nursery and edit items.

- Kits may be made on chicken smoothie, or offsite. Please make sure offsite kits are posted to our deviant art group!

- You must follow our Valentines MYO nursery guidelines listed below!

- Each user is only allowed to take part in a single MYO nursery batch from this event!
> This means if two users decide to do one MYO nursery batch together, the batch counts as the single batch for BOTH users.
> This also means you may only have one batch type from this MYO nursery, you can have a NPC breeding OR a breeding between two non npc simas. Not one of each.

- You must own one or both simas for the batch! If its a breeding between you and another user, please make sure to post approval from the other user involved.
> This does not apply to the non-owner batch form.

- Simas who aren't adult or have dwarfism can't be used in the Valentines MYO Nursery.

- You must fill out the forms correctly!

- You may find/request someone to help you make your myo nursery batch, however people are not allowed to request any type of payment for such service and the batch must be completed within the time frame or will be considered invalid.
> If a sima staff member chooses to help you make your batch, this is counted as free work and does not count towards their monthly staff rewards.
> You are allowed to "tip" someone for helping you with your batch after it is made, but there should not be any agreed upon payment from either side.
> Regardless if you tip someone or not for helping you, the kits will still be considered obtained through free means.

- These kits are intended for the ticket poster, if sima owners consider something suspicious such as a user or multiple users gifting all their kits from the valentines myo nursery to a single person in a short period of time, it may be decided to not allow it.

[4]. Make your kits following our guidelines and your roll results!

[5]. Post the kits on chicken smoothie or deviant art, then fill out the finished batch approval form!

[6]. Wait for approval. If any changes need to be made, a sima staff member will let you know!

NOTICE

We are using our NEW Extended Sima Edit List for this event!

We're trying to see how well this works, make sure everything makes sense and is more clear then it was prior. If you are confused about anything or have any questions regarding this please either ask in our "Editlist-help" Channel in our discord, or pm Glispa here on cs if you do not have access to discord.

- A sima staff member will roll the edits, you may not give the kit any edits which they did not roll for!
> non-rarity edits excluded.
> I, FluffyTheUnicorn will most likely be rolling your edits however in the rare case I am unable to another sima staff member will.

- The design of the kits must be a mixture of the parents!
> This means if neither parent has star markings, the kit may not get star markings, etc.
> For the non-owner form this is flexible since technically a second parent doesn't actually exist, so in this case you can add design that the chosen npc doesn't have to fill in for the missing parent however just keep it consistent between kits.

- Colors must come from the parents!
> Mixing colors of the parents is allowed!
> For the non-owner form you will be provided three random palettes to pick from, you may only pick one of these to work with along side the chosen npcs palette.

- Style of the edits must match the parents!
> In the case of edits if only one parent has the edit, it must match the style of the parent which has the edit. If both parents have the edit, you may choose which parents style the edit matches or it may be a mix of both styles.
> The visible jewel power edit is an exception to this, no matter what power the parent has displayed the power the kit has must match the power of the jewel color they have. Please see here to know what color is linked with what power.
> For the non-owner form you may decide how the edit may look, just keep it consistent between the kits and make sure it fits within its rarity limit.

- Location of an edit may not be drastically moved/changed from the location which the parent has.
> For the non-owner form you may decide location, just keep it consistent between the kits and make sure it fits within its rarity limit.

- An edit should not be larger or more of then what the parent which the edit is from has.
> For example, if a kit gets legendary jewel growths from Mileleth, they should not have larger nor more jewels then what Mileleth has.
> If the edit looks larger then the parents by a small bit, we'll likely just ask you to make sure its no larger then the parents when then kit is grown.
> This is flexible for the non-owner form, just keep it within the listed rarity and consistent between kits.

- You may add non-rarity edits at no cost!
> Please see the here for a list of non-rarity edits!

- If you do not have a npc breeding, this will count as a breeding slot of both parents.
> Breeding with a npc once will not count as a breeding slot, nor will it invalidate the soulmate perk. If the same sima breeds with any npc again, it will then count as a breeding slot and make the soulmate perk invalid.

- You must fill out the eye ref and palette.

- If the kit(s) have a lot going on such as effects, edits, accessories, etc which make it hard to see the design or/and other edits please provide a version of the ref where such things are visible.

- Mythical edits may pass like they do in the normal nursery, they aren't rolled for but rather if the owner of the sima requests it to pass, it will pass however it can only ever pass once.

- If a jewel type isn't listed on the edit list, the kit has a standard jewel.

💕 -- Valentines NPCS -- 💕

Simas have long since questioned where all the orphans came from around this time of year, some rumors have started to spread from what the orphans would say.

The orphans speak of the place where they had come from prior to being adopted by they're new families. A place of lush gardens, marble statues and wonderful simas whom take care of them. No ones ever been sure of if what was said by these orphans were true, however this year it appears five simas have appeared with the orphans. Could these be the simas which they had spoken of?

These simas don't tell you much about where they are from, other then a very beautiful place and confirm that yes, they are the caretakers of the orphans.

- Valentines npcs do not belong to any one person but rather belong to the species as a whole, think of like our mascot Seed. So yes, this means you may use them in your writing, stories and lore for your simas!

- Valentines npcs were blessed by the sima god which they follow. This blessing which they all possess allows them to have unlimited breedings, no breeding cool downs, no limits to how many times their legendary edits may pass down to kits and allows them to not take up a breeding slot nor effect the soulmate perk of any simas they breed with as long as its the only time that sima has bred with a npc. This blessing will NEVER pass down.

- All kits of the same npc are considered related.

- Npcs will be swapped out, ideally we aim to have two sets of five which rotate in and out each year.

- We may host contests for future valentines events to design a new npc if this is something the community seems interested in.

"Nefeli is quite the playful sima, often found running around, playing with the orphans and tripping over her own short legs. She generally tries her best at making everyone around her happy and cheerful, which often leads her to neglecting her own needs at times. She's the type to keep a smile on her face at the worst of times."

"Hyacinthus was once an orphan like all the rest of the kits on the island but his shy nature and tendency to hide meant he never ended up finding a new home. So he ended up staying on the island under his god's and the other caretakers watchful eyes until adulthood. When this happened the god offered to help Hyacinthus to find a way to live a good life on the island among the rest of the world, but he didn't want this as the world out there seemed scary and distant for someone who had never known anything else. So his god instead gave him their blessing to stay and take care of the kits like he had been taken care of before. Hyacinthus is still a very shy and quite sima but because of this he seems to catch the attention of likeminded kits who just want to hang out and have a peaceful time without all the chaos that tends to happen on the rest of the island."

For the most part, our rolls for this match our normal nursery rolls however with a few changes such as boosted kit number chances, no dwarfism roll and no mutation roll.

Most of this is just simplified from our nursery besides the boosted kit rolls. Anything which does not apply to this nursery such as out of season subspecies will not be listed here, other then edits which pass out of season.

"Fail" Variant Rolls;;

Fail variant rolls are possible during the Valentines MYO Nursery.
This is a term we use for edits that have lower possible tiers to them, in which case if the edit fails to roll within the rarity which the parent has but is in range for a lower tier version of the edit it is possible the kit will get that version instead.

Some examples of edits with possible fail variants are;;
