Welcome to The Steiff Bear Halloween Event!
Every participant will earn a semi-custom Northern Greyhound!
What is a Steiff Bear?
Steiff is a German-based plush toy company. It was founded in 1880 by Margarete Steiff, a seamstress. The toys began as elephants, and were originally a design Steiff found in a magazine and sold as pincushions to her customers.
Steiff products are often considered family heirlooms and are passed from generation to generation. Steiff toys last so long because they are extremely well-made and vigorously tested – surpassing all U.S. and international toy safety standards.
The well-known metal button has been found in the ear of most Steiff toys since 1904. Note: the button was not used during World War II when metal was in short supply. Early on, the button had an image of an elephant on them. More recently, most buttons were marked “Steiff” and accompanied by a yellow ribbon.
Rules:
- You are free to color this in multiple times though you may only receive one greyhound from this event.
- Please at least color in the bear, there is no need to add a Halloween costume to it. It just tells me which costume I should stick on the greyhound.
- When posting your design please use the form below!
- No limit is added on how many markings you can include in your likes/dislikes section, there is no solid guarantee that all of them will be used. They are just suggestions for me to help create a design for you.
- Go wild! Solid colors are allowed when coloring in but discouraged as the NEG's collar will be based off of what you color in.
- Do not touch the NEG folder, just color in the Steiff Bear Please.
