is it possible to have both a rare and a very rare edit if we don't ask for a legendary edit?

so instead of having 1 legendary and 1 rare/very rare, you have 1 rare and 1 very rare edit, but no legendary?

i want to get floating orbs & bat wings for mine (but no legendary traits), would that be allowed?

Yes that is totally fine. If you didnt ask for a legendary then that is allowed to ask for both rare n very rare.
