my headcannon for this sima while making them was: they are a seasoned warrior and have faced many battles, many call them "the darkest flame" due to the fact when they enter battle they become shrouded in shadow and only the flicker of flames can be seen. they are also called "the golden flame" due to the last thing seen is their golden hair. they do not use their sight and do not need it to be advantageous in battle. after a tough battle they now just wander the lands looking for a worthy opponent. some say the mountains on their left leg might show their homeland? maybe they used to be a retainer for a royal family? no one knows.
of course you dont need to follow any of this

sword, covering and fire are removable <3
