So you can totally change anything you want with the design and concept if you want them, but here's my general idea:
Androgynous design, I'll use they/them pronouns in my description lol feel free to gender them ofc
I sort of wanted to do an alien, like something unnatural and odd, but rather than a sci fi alien, a fantasy one. So a person from perhaps another plane, where they come off as strange and alien.
The most "unnatural" thing is that their hair sort of turns into a cape/veil as it goes down, like it kind of weaves itself into a sort of light silken texture at around their shoulders.
I kind of mishmashed some of your inspo list, kind of going for that dragon/demon aesthetic, with the grim reaper motifs as well in the scythe, skull and string of bones at their hip
But I sort of imagined leaning into the reaper idea of the grim reaper, like maybe in the dimension they're from, sort of "farming" lives is socially acceptable, but when they come to your world that's like.. you know, not an okay thing to do- I of course don't know your world lore, that's just one concept that came to mind while drawing them.

Okay sorry for rambling lol, my tos are chill you can pretty much do whatever you want with the character as long as you don't take credit for the original design
also uh, I know you said you didn't like muddy color pallets so if you like the design but want it brightened up/recolored let me know, I have most of the colors on separate layers so it's easy to change. I was kind of going for that ethereal look, but it might be too muddy for your taste

Do not resell for more than the original purchase value UNLESS you have drawn/obtained additional art that will come with them. (trading is perfectly fine)
Do not take credit for the design or original art. You do not need to credit me every time you post your art of them, but do be honest if asked about it.
You may use my designs in published works, if they are visually depicted then credit me in the credits section.
UHH if you do want to keep the design, as for what I like, it's 3 am and idk lol, pretty much anything basically the same stuff that you like lol
Humanoids, what fits into my main worlds best are humans, kemonomimi and angels/demons, but the way it's set up I can use pretty much anything.

my current main world I'm working on is a sort of mix of medieval-modern fantasy kind of leading medieval, and the people who live there are naturally colored humans that have unnatural hair color highlights, and can have unnaturally colored eyes as well
