I technically did two because the little buddy toy companion thing is alive.
You don't have to do two, but if you do a humanoid and give them a wolfdog or fox companion that would be fine.
Don't feel pressured to though.

Species you like:
Humanoid (I like humans with animal ears and tails.)
Wolfdog
Fox
Colors you like:
Natural colors (mostly I'm into white with colored patches. I usually like white with black or blue (gray, not blue like the sky or anything)
Natural with unnatural tail tip, ear tips, sometimes sprayed on the paws (if you do a white wolfdog or fox), the eyes could have unnatural.
Natural hair colors for humanoid but you can have part of the hair colored purple or blue like hair dye.
Light purples and blues. Blue-gray.
Themes you like:
Neko (cat humanoid)
Kitsune (multi tailed fox but...these have human/humanoid forms)
Sunflowers (if you want to do it on clothes or as accessories)
Galaxy stuff (could work for eyes or clothes or accessories)
Fantasy
Werewolves actually (if you actually attempt this which has to have two forms, please please please draw the wolf on four legs... Idk why people make werewolves on two legs)
Optional very specific character concepts you have:
For humanoid, they'd be completely human except animal ears and tail. Though if you do a cat humanoid, they can have the cat pupils.
For the wolfdog, I was thinking wolf x collie or wolf x Eskimo dog (Canadian Eskimo dog, Inuit Eskimo dog, the bigger ones), or you could do breeds that are named as wolfdogs (Kunming wolfdog, Saarlos wolfdog, aka I don't think they actually have wolf in them)
Any fox goes, but I really like the unique ones, like Marble fox or there's these half red half black foxes I've found. I also like the ones that I guess were created by humans (white with colored patches)
Idk if it goes in colors, themes or concepts, but heterochromia and sectoral eyes are a thing I live, and also Vitiligo (on humans/ humanoids) is cool.
Things you DON'T want:
Bright/neon colors
Creepy/weird mouths or eyes
Spiders though you probably won't do this since you said no holiday designs
Oh! Clashing colors...which also shouldn't happen since I said no bright and neon colors.
