Sorry, forgot to add this...I made em look like a bald eagle since you said birds. XD

Likes:
Smilodons are cool but I want a Dire Wolf (or some sort of fox creature)
Colors- natural (really like white foxes and wolves, or white with color, or even black with some white)
A bit of unnatural (pastel purple and or blue, really any purples or blues if they aren't bright/neon, or even a darker red could work) on ear tips, tail tip, or even little marks on the face and legs.
Heterochromia
Sectoral
Fluffy
Big ears (on foxes or fox creatures)
Long fluffy tails (if you make a fox or fox creature, though honestly you could do that on a Dire wolf too)

Dislikes:
Bright/neon colors
Certain colors together (bright green with purple, bright yellow with purple, etc)
Clashing
Weird eyes or mouths
