I like doing these in oekaki whenever I got art block, so here's a quick man for ya! LOL
A knight of roses in the court of the snake king or smthn, vibes!

Sorry for the lack of full-body ref--I may come back and do a little chibi or smthn as a better ref, but it's legit cause I couldn't figure out how to set the canvas portrait instead of landscape orz

- Formal military/navy (uniform, belts, tassles, medals galore!)
- Modern military tac suit but make it a lil spy edgy
- Male humanoid designs
- Celestial/starry/eldritch horror black hole stuff
- Doomed by the narrative

Dislikes:
- Hyper-neons (all bright palette)
- Tbh I tend to not connect v well with characters that I haven't made myself, but I like to see what other ppl come up with!

yes please dm me! i totally get the struggle to connect with ocs (hence why this exists haha) but send me a moodboard with maybe a few examples of character designs you like of those aesthetics? challenge accepted!

also to set the canvas to vertical i think there's a button in the top-leftmost corner, click that and then it'll turn your mouse into a hand that you can use to reorient the canvas
