generation 6 - you are here!
we had a LOT of applicants for this pup, so there will be more sub-generations coming! for now here's our official continuation of the chain! >:D other applicants WILL also be receiving pups, just those pups won't go on to be parents in the next rung of the chain!
for this one we have InuImori's parent character! InuImori gets to pick which pup they want to keep and the other two pups will stay with me for the time being. I will flip a coin on which pup gets to advance to be the parent of the next rung! (though I won't release the next rung until I've finished all the sub-generations for this rung). the designs leftover at the end will likely be put up for adoption/sold! :3c woohoo!
anywho InuImori I really hope you like these pups! I had a ton of fun making them and I have to say your parent character's design is super cool! I'm a big fan of your work too hehe so twas an honor to make these lil pups for you! < 3
- pup 1 - left - daybreak - for this pup I relied pretty heavily on parent A for markings, so I went heavy on parent B for the colors! it's a bit hard to see but this pup has dark spots and darker parts of their 'space body' inspired by parent B's spotty base markings, and shapes in their starry spots like parent B's thigh markings! I gave them moon markings on their chest and thigh, as well as both four-point stars from parent A and five-point stars from parent B's thigh mark. their head and neck markings, as well as the dark area on their body, are drawn from parent A, while their white accents are from parent B. I thought giving this pup golden moons and stars would be a fun way to give them some color pop and really differentiate them from their siblings! I also wanted to get both shades of the gold/yellow in there, so their eyes have both colors (gold on top, yellow on bottom) and so do their chibi wings!
pup 2 - middle - space blues - for this pup I wanted to do the white 'hood' marking from parent B, and have that transition into a sort of 'space body' like parent A, while using lighter colors to mimic B's pseudo-gradient thing where it slowly changes from white to black. I kept the blue stars from A, but only included them up top on this pup's back to aide in that sort of light-to-dark pseudo-gradient I was doing with the spots! this pup only has five-point stars like B's leg crystal, no four-pointed stars. I included the moon mark on their forehead, and included parent A's white pupils-- though I thought it would be cool to mutate the trait into a star-shaped pupil for this pup! I also gave them A's moon marking on their forehead, and B's cheek freckles. I brought the blue accent from A out more into the horns and wings too because I thought it really popped in a cool way.
pup 3 - right - starry night painting - there's something painterly about this pup imo. I went with both the grey-blues of parent A and the true-blues of parent B with this pup, then spotted them out in that pseudo-gradient from B's markings! I added stars and moons like parent A over top and added some definition to the face markings too. they have crescent moons on their forehead, neck, and hind leg! I used the light yellow for the starry marks here (by process of elimination we used the orange/gold, the blue, and that leaves this as our last accent color to have that sweet sweet color pop! I think it turned out fun too so I'm glad I tried this out too!) as a lil fun fact this pup is the only one with the funky inner-ear stripes from parent A. I think this pup is the most faithful mix of the parents :3
