2023 Summer Event: Casual Chat

The event was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the fishing minigame and a whole set of tokens being locked behind it, if I'll be honest (though I won't deny that my horrible luck is a contributing factor to that), but the rest was still fine.

I agree on the fishing game fish tokens. I'm missing so many pets because I only got fish tokens a couple of times (I got the "trash" items more than once). I also like to have one of each token at the end too. That seems impossible now lol.

Honestly, I wish they'd keep the little food swap mini game on the site permanently. Surprisingly, it actually works on my old tablet/browser lol.

I didn't dislike the game itself, I thought the concept was cute, but I felt between the trash, fish tokens, and five otter outcomes, it was a bit too much. If there were maybe only 2 or 3 otters plus the tokens I think it would have been less frustrating

honestly this snake outcome has a very personal meaning to me and i didn't really have a solid clue on how to dress up an already so cluttered pet, so i thought, wouldn't it be fun to just drown it in penguins? lol

Agreed. I actually loved the game, but @Ziggy Stardust is right. 2 or 3 otters and the tokens would
be more interesting. I was expecting fish, but then I just got a handful of trash for my last tokens. ;-;

I quite liked the fishing game - I too struggled to get everything without trading for it, but likely those fish token pets will be the first to go very rare in a few years’ time. The fish need an hour’s worth of time for a chance to get them, and then some fish will be kept for decoration rather than being traded in, meaning those pets will be rarer than the others overall. The bears especially will likely hold their value due to the design. I like the fact that we’re moving slowly away from a homogenous ‘token pet = rare’ model and that there will be a variety of rarities (‘even currently under the ‘rare’ label) traded out.

i've kept my pets from this event relatively lined up and in order and it looks so nice i'm considering going back thru my events group and doing id swaps .......

i didn't like how small the decoration space for the actual pet rock was, soooooo i ended up making this over a macaw

My favorite lil guys from the summer event would be the fae-looking butterfly wolves & glowy marsh cats! Very cool. I never understand how to follow the story line of the events but it was fun! ^^ I enjoy the events the most in CS!

I'm only missing the raven dragon now but no one is trading this guy and I kept getting double-headed noodles and now I'm almost out of tokens. There go my plans for a raven dragon hoard...
